Not really an unpopular opinion, but I needed a place to vent.

Get off my ad feed you fuckin' bitch! Your ad is cancerous! It's crashing Shockwave Flash slowing the hell out of scrolling through comics and leaving comments for nice creators is nigh impossible! On top of that I'm getting reports that the ad wants to load scripts! And 95% of the time there's fucking two of you!

eh I prefer "not trans" since most people have no idea what cis means. I'm asexual and I don't use "allosexual" at all just "not asexual" or "sexual".

I don't know, cis is such a buzzword to the point of being almost meaning less, whatever happen to saying "normal"? Plus for some people it's slurword to mock normal people. Ever hear of "Die cis scum!"

Yeah some people I've met use the word cis in a really degrading and insulting way which really pisses me off. They're like "Oh, you're a cis-white-whatever? Clearly you aren't a 'special snowflake' like me, gtfo you cisgender scum!".

to be fair, anyone who acts like that isn't exactly someone you'd want to talk to, they just give a bad name to people who genuinely care about issues regarding transgender rights.

cis isn't even a slur? or it doesn't have the same bearing as those directed towards lgbt people. more often than not slurs directed towards LGBT people have malicious intent behind it, but what's cis gonna do? people who's gender identity match their sex make up the majority of the population, it's not like they're going to get dehumanized by a singular prefix

Um, I think only a very very tiny percentage of people seriously say "Die cis scum", I am pretty sure everyone else just uses it to mock Tumblr users or are just a troll pretending to hate-cis. I never came across someone who was serious about it.

Cis is not a slurword, it never was. It just another word for "not trans". People may try to make it sound bad, but most of the people tend to be dumb teens. I have however come across people who were called cis, not in a offensive way, but they end up getting offended.

Also using "normal" is also problematic. It dehumanizes trans people. Like I am not forcing you to use cis but please do not act like trans people are some sort of abnormal monster.

Except normal can just mean the norm, the standard, the expected. There doesn't have to be any kind of judgement attached to the label normal.

In the city where I live, if you're a guy who's not into sport that's every unusual. So I'm not normal in that regard. Nothing dehumanising about that.

There has always been a strong anti-trans backlash that tries to dehumanize trans people. And it similar to those who say gays are not normal or interracial marriage is not normal. Or saying that because the majority of the US population is white, thus non-white people are not normal.

It's awful and wrong and yes it is dehumanizing.
And sometimes what is considered "normal" can also be problematic.

Can I just say, I really hate the whole concept of HD, 4K, and super high frame rates.

It messes with my eyes and makes me dizzy. It also looks creepy and unnatural. Maybe it's because I spend long hours at work looking at low quality SD film from the 60s and 70s or maybe there is just something wrong with my eyes.

I do have to admit some of the 4K TVs look a little weird to me. I went one weekend and was looking at TVs and a few of them looked unreal- the visuals looked like that Beowulf movie from the mid 2000s- like it was all CGI or something. Then there were some that the picture looked a little more natural.

Some TVs have a setting which smooths out frames, causing it to look like it has a high frame rate. However, it also causes things to look bizarre and low budget.

I love slow build-up relationships, both irl and in shows/comics/stories. For some reason all my friends get so impatient with that sort of thing... and usually get annoyed at me when I try to take things realistic and slow in stories and roleplays...

I also adore Ereri and Sebasciel, although I have my own guidelines and preferences for each. I know both ships are controversial as all hell.

I also think Mary/Gary sues are pretty okay. I should know because most of mine are like that(gets shot), at least in today's standards. Let's be honest most of our favorite shows and stories have such OP and Gary/Mary Sue characters that we love. It's what makes a story interesting. Now, the ones I can't stand are Fandom OC Mary/Gary sues. And the ones with eye hurting colors and rainbows.... I mean it depends, but in an original story line, specifically your own universe, it's perfectly fine to have those type of characters as long as those characters are relatable and make sense with the universe's logic.

I love dark chocolate and black licorice. Oh, don't forget broccoli and brussel sprouts. Steamed vegetables are bae lol.

SAO was actually pretty OK up until the fairy arc. Either way I have a lot of problems with it, but I also love it to pieces. It's a love hate relationship.

I honestly don't think veganism is a good thing at all, it's a really stupid lifestyle. It's nothing more than a philosophy with no scientific evidence backing it up as healthy (the only scientific evidence proving it is non - peer reviewed studies conducted by vegans for vegans). Most vegan people I know are underweight, teeth and hair are falling out, ill, low sex drive, low energy, depressed from vitamin deficiency, pale a ghost or has organ failure from doing it for most of their life.

You can't survive without meat in your diet, it's honestly really stupid. It's not brave, it's not activism, there are easier ways to help out animals without destroying your health. Killing an animal for sustenance is justified. I'm sorry, but you can love animals and eat them too. Eating an animal to keep you alive isn't evil, animals do it all the time and so can we. Not to mention all living things feel rudimentary pain, plants feel some sort of pain. Why is one life more important than another?

The real way to solve animal problems is eat sustainable food, limit meat in your diet because you don't need to eat a ton of meat, support trusted animal organizations or your local adoption center or animal sanctuary. You don't need to risk your health to help a cause.

I'm not a big fan of vegans either. Someone I knew once tried to convert me to one of those diets and they couldn't understand that I physically need to eat animal proteins at least once a day or I will faint. I get that they're trying to do with good thing for the world and all but some vegans are seriously misguided.

To be fair, I hate anyone with the mindset that 'my diet makes me healthy, but don't look it up on actual legitimate food or health sources because they'll say it's bad because they're controlled by big pharma (or whatever they're opposing)

And it's not so much I have an issue with them doing it. They can fuck their bodies up however they want, I mean I give that same freedom to smokers. Just... STOP trying to convert me.

If I get told "IF YOU WERE vegan/gluten free/all banana/non GMO/some vitamin drink shit/what ever the fuck diet they're on now YOU WOULDN'T HAVE LUPUS!!" I'm going to punch them. It'll probably hurt me more than them but it would oh so fucking satisfying.

OK, I may be one of the few people who will eat little to no meat not because of ethics but because I just don't like the taste of most meats. And yes, it does effect my body in negative ways. Meats have iron in them which you need and if your iron is low, it can make you feel sluggish, depressed, and it makes periods for women a bit hellish. People on no meat diets should take iron supplements.

Also, when my aunt was vegetation, she was still over weight because there are a lot of unhealthy foods out there which do not have meat.
On the other hand, I also had a friend in high school who was vegan and he always looked underweight. He didn't have a car so I guess he just ate whatever his his mom bought. He then eventually gave it up.

People who just say "I hate insert movie/game/book/whatever" and then just say its overrated and it sucks are the worst people to talk to, don't get me wrong if you dislike something then its in your right to say so but I'm talking about the people who haven't even seen/played the thing they say they "hate" and are so stubborn that nothing you bring up will change their mind or at least see things from another point of view...

Another thing that pisses me off is the need to have a quota of characters you have to add in nowadays so people don't feel "Left out" like you have to force in a gay character or such. people need to get it in their fucking heads that you can't just force in characters if you do they just turn into a stereotype of the thing they are supposed to be or just turn out to be shitty characters.
There is a huge difference in just being "that gay character" and having a well written, well fleshed out character who happens to be gay. Sorry if I seem angry I've just heard this said so many times its starting to piss me off.
