I am particularly proud of this gruesome image.
"Graves was wrenched from his musings by a faint cracking sound. A single snap that perforated the silence and allowed him to draw closer to the source. Towards the medical quad, past the morgue, down an alley made by two boarding houses; right to a slouched figure and the sluching sound of tearing flesh from bone. Cannibalism was such a deep cultural taboo that it never occurred to people that they were game meat. Tough, with more muscle than fat, many tendons to be ripped before the chewing could begin. It took a great deal of strength or madness to consume human flesh raw, something beyond that was required to place bone into oneâs jaws to reach the marrow. The Ghoul was no stranger to the treat as its own mandible was beginning to sag with overuse. It was beyond pain now just like its current meal. A face frozen in its final terror stared from the ground at Graves, twisted oddly on the ruined remains of its neck. The spine was gruesomely exposed from the shoulder to the ear, abandoned by the Ghoul for newly opened chest cavity. The figure's head was currently deep inside the victim's stomach and ate without pausing. It didnât need to breathe, it was ambulatory solely because of an unknown drive or motivation but it wasnât dead. Or at least not in a way Graves recognized."
Happy nightmares!
