I won't dig as deep as 1998, even though that's when it started...

First sketch I have of Gil from 2017, first illustration from the same year, last illustration from this year.

And with a sentimental value, my first comic cover from 2016 vs the last one of this year ^^

I started my comic back in 2016 which is also the time, where I really started to learn about art.
So those pictures here are the very first ones of my characters ^^ The world didn't start with the current main cast. I made Osram and Xenon just for fun but then their story keept on going

So this was my art level when I started out with my sweet little A'Mara and then later Osram:

Aaaand this is how I did the pages... Well, at least I learned a lot since then ^^' But I did restart the story again last Octobre because the story had some sirious plotholes and the art... didn't really help to get new readers interested.

My current art looks like this. I focused alot on the backgrounds and perspective. It was my hate subject at the beginning now, as I understand it, I love to draw them.

I'm especially proud of this WIP page (lines arent cleaned up, no bubbles yet etc.):

I'm a fairly well-organized digital pack rat so, you guys... I actually have THE FIRST EVER digital drawing that I did. This is from the first day I got a tablet and couldn't make eye-hand coordination work quite well... It's from around 2006.

Then this was the first one I completed (I'm pretty sure?) a couple weeks later. I didn't know what multiply was, or couldn't use layers that well either, so I just drew on top of a sketch I scanned lol...

Fast-forward to a few years later, this was in 2010-2011... I didn't really understand how shadows worked so it usually took me hours with the darn airbrush to get the final "look". And! I discovered ~CUSTOM BRUSHES~

This is one of the first drawings of Dot that I did, probably around 2013-ish. She was actually a young adult back then.

And another piece - of a different character (Peppermint) from my novel. You can see I still don't really know how shadows work.

Aaand now for the more recent (+ ~3 years of dealing with a nerve injury during which I couldn't draw)

My oldest lineart preserved (& scanned) is drawn in red marker... that's clearly Mario inspired!

Have no idea what was my first sketch.

First CG art:
I couldn't preserve my first digital art. I don't even know exactly what the art is... possibly drawn on a MS-DOS drawing software in someone's 486 PC. (same as 1st digital fanart in my dad's old PC, not sure if it's Sonic or a dragon portrait-- from Acclaim's Dragon Heart: Fire & Steel)

First comic book cover that preserved:
I'm sure I did another one first but it was gone (I don't even remember how it looks). This one is the oldest comic (& cover) I drawn that I had. The character is a ripoff of a Sonic ripoff 'Jurassic Boy'.

While I was digging through my old discord messages I found old Jack and Winston concept art!

And here they are about a year or so later…

Indeed these brothers have come very far since their early days!

There are other characters I would like to show but I have to do more cringe feats first!
