I was inspired 'against' all the usual characters in movies and books. Most are twisted and dark in an almost 2-D manner. I came up with a calmer and more nearly normal character who was a nobody caught in the gears and machinations of a future mankind. He is a man stuck at the center of fate's cobweb. Yes, he has his secrets. Yes, he has a dark past, but for the most part, he would just like to make friends.
Besh is a space bum, thumbing the known universe in search of his old friend, Cosmo Jack.
