Ever since I was a child, I've had a love and appreciation for cartoons. They way they would tell a story and how the characters changed throughout the series. I've always wanted to make something that people would be able to enjoy. Something to laugh and cry about. I've drawn influence from the both popular and underrated classics, (The Simpsons, Hogan's Heros, Angry Beavers, Teen Titans, ect.) Even though I was not a fan of comics, there was one magazine strip that made me appreciate the comic book world. That strip was Spy vs Spy. I remember getting the complete casebook for my 15th birthday, I read that thing over and over again. I used to redraw some of those same strips on scrap paper at school. This was the influence for Capture the flag. But this was the time when the internet was in full swing and with that came some shows from over sea's. One of those that happened to caught my eye was an 80's manga/anime called Cat's eye. I found the art style to be more unique then some of the modern anime. The way the characters were drawn made it look more realistic. This was a BIG influence for me to make the guild of the Maltese falcon. The idea of a group of people living double lives as cat burglars is very interesting.
But that is where I'm at right now, who knows that the future might hold for me.
