I know I'm not the only one who makes moodboards for my characters! I think they are such a fun and creative way to imagine stories (and as a way to procrastinate from actual writing lol)

I love them and making them all the time It is the best way for me to imagine small stories with my characters, especially those I don't draw in comics

Just started playing around something that's been itching me a lot these past months... and which is already sneaking in my art somehow but it just becomes clearer... somewhere between the late 30s (there's a story just in world expo's pre war architecture), leather and art deco (shanghai is amazing for that)... strong lines, naive and pretentious mood, dangerously raw and too direct for its own good... a vibe that's around... not sure what I'm gonna do with that...

and @Kelheor, the last two you've posted are just amazing! quite visceral.

This is a moodboard I made for the artist of my book cover. She definitely nailed the 90s shoujo anime feel I wanted.

I love making mood boards in Canva. I used to use Pinterest but to many of the pictures link to scammy websites.
