Have you ever had a BEAST of a time finding reference for something very very specific? Have you ever been unable to find a good reference for something, so you had to make it yourself? Share it here, for the benefit of others! I'll start with a couple of my own:
I've shared this before, I think-- I could NOT find a good reference image of the exact pose that I wanted, at the angle that I wanted. So I literally had to build a little mannequin and take photos to get the posing and angles and proportions right.

And just tonight, I was trying to help a friend figure out a good reference for a brass object in a cyan light source. This was NOT easy to find... so I had to photograph it myself. Hopefully this helps someone else.
