Hi yall, this is a romance story set in the victorian era with a twist on the enemies to lovers trope! I just uploaded chapter 13 and would love for you to give it a read! If you like it, consider giving it a like or even a sub! Below is the link plus a snippet from the latest chapter! :smile:

I feel myself cringe in my jerk away from him when I take notice of the rustling leaves, giving me pause. I watch in wait as the movement suddenly stops, seemingly hesitant to creep out from the safety of its den. Then, the fur of a white rabbit peeks out from the brush, twitching its nose as it assesses the scenery. Hopping forward, it stands upright with perked ears. I’m relieved as Nikkolas tears his face away from mine, though I’m perturbed by his slow approach of the demure creature. He treads carefully in his cross over the gravel path and aims for the grass so as to muffle his footsteps. However, he then bends towards the patch of wildflowers, snapping an orange one from its stem. During this, the rabbit seems to take notice of his encroach, but remains oddly unfazed. With his gaze fixed on the animal, he crouches, reaching out to it with his offer of the marigold. To my pleasant bewilderment, the rabbit lowers its ears in familiarity and springs towards him. It barely sniffs out the gift before adoringly munching the flower, stem and all. The soft creature seems to sense there were plenty more past His Grace and hops towards them. Lowering his hand, a smile of seeming fondness rests upon his face.

“They come for the marigolds this time of year,” he says, turning to address me. I quickly relax the upward curve of my lips for fear he may notice.

Hey everyone! Y.F. Valentine here.
Debugging the Apocalyptic Sun God has several episodes scheduled. The novel is inspired by the story of Apollo and Daphne.

I have the goal that after finishing my 30 chapters for the contest I will write a special side story.

Current goal is to hit 25 subs for an Apollo side story. Thinking Apollo + (Hyacinth, Admetus, or Adonis). So yeah a bit of BL, my first and hoping it wouldn't be the last.

Hi yall, just uploaded chapter 21 of my story, it's a twist on the enemies to lovers trope, below is a snippet along with a link for the recent chapter, so if your interested I would love for you to give it a read! :blush:

Snippet:
“I’ll be going now,” I state aloofly, noticing in my brush past him it’s no longer as bright outside.
“Well, wait a moment, Avalor,” he says, catching up with my pace. “I’ve just returned from my drills,” he continues, with an outstretched palm, “Perhaps we could go on a date?”
“A date you say?” I ask presumptuously, feigning wonder at the idea, “How very tempting - but no.”
“We could at least go for a walk together?” he suggests, “The weather has slightly cooled from the sudden overcast.”
“We’re already walking,” I counter, with my hands crossed over my dress.
“Of course,” he flinches, side stepping to face me in my stride, “Perhaps we sit down for lunch?”
“Not hungry.”
“A dance, then?”
“Not interested.” He puts a brief hold on his attempts to court me, as though it’s only just occurred to him I am no longer in obligation to tiptoe around him, anymore.
