I can't remember a time when comics and superheroes weren't a part of my life. From the early syndicated cartoons which bombarded the 80's TV screens, to the merch that followed. Coming from a deprived area and a family of alcoholics, this escape from reality was more than welcome. My dream was to create my own Superhero franchise, most importantly my own action figures, and being a traditionalist, they had to start their lives in a comic book!
Luckily I took to art well and have been drawing since I could hold a pen, from my first comic strip of Thomas the Tank engine through to Small Press and Webcomic attempts throughout my life. I've always believed in my stories and recently thought I'd combine them all in one comic, hence Heroes of the World and Beyond was born! Mixing childhood ideas and characters with my current skills! (There will also be a tank engine appearing too)
My most popular to date Webcomic was done over on Deviantart around 2005 and it got tons of fan art and even started getting me recognised on the street, which was weird! (And suffering from anxiety, quite scary).
So yeah it's been a life long passion! I don't want to stop until I have that action figure range!
