Hello folks! I'm Totonie and I'm quite new to making webcomics and Tapas!

I entered into the Webtoon Short Story contest with a friend. We didn't win, but that means now we get to publish it on Tapas! Reformatting from webtoon to tapas took me a while, but I really want to be a part of this awesome community! I've been lurking for a long time and been reading all the helpful tips on here when I was creating my first webcomic, love it here!

So here is my entry for "heartwarming" and I invite anyone else to share theirs! There were over 5000+ entries that I'm sure I must have missed out on so many hidden gems! Thank you!

Congrats on getting runner up Totonie! I remember seeing yours and thinking it was really cute.

Congrats to everyone who participated in the contest, regardless of placement. It was really an eye-opening experience that made me want to make more comics. We're going to be posting on Tapas as well once we get the full series going.

This is one that I thought should've won a prize for sure. It made both of us cry when we read it. A really touching story.

Lilah's Magic Shop is amazing so far though! I love the style and the colors. Your characterization is on point.

So excited to see more. ^^

Meh, I like what I managed to put out, but I kind of wish the art here was better. I was in a stage of expirementing with my style while the contest was going on so all the art in the comic already looks super dated

Hello. I also didn't win anything. It's a cool idea for everyone to share their story, since it was really hard to find a good one among all the entries - with how the search function worked. ;;;

Thank you Yannan! Congrats on runner up as well! I liked your entry too! As someone who was born and lived in Nanjing until 13, I was so surprised to see a story set there! What a touching story too!

Whaaaaat? That's so cool! Fun fact: I was born in Xi'An, where my dad is from, but my mom named me "Yannan" meaning "bird flying south" because her home was in Nanjing, in the south!
