MY NIGHTMARES ARE METAPHORICAL AND HORRIFYING. FEAR TEACHES POWERFUL LESSONS, AND THE LADY NIGHT KINDLY SHARES THEM WITH ME. THE MOST RECENT ONES HAVE BEEN THE WORK OF NYX AND HECATE, BOTH OF WHOM HAVE TAKEN AN INTEREST IN ME. I AM TERRIFIED BUT THANKFUL.

A broken plug in starting a house fire, me trying to put it out but it kept coming back, ending in me burning to death.

I was half awake irl sitting in my bed, and i imagine a huge black spider jump towards me.

Im falling into a endless pit, all the most painful and feared things running through my head.

Everyone turns into zombies slowly and im immune and left alone on earth, with no one besides myself and the zombies.

As a general rule, all my dreams are weird. Here are some examples:

1-That one dream where i accidentally ruined Jesus's cruxifiction, so i doomed humanity.
The apostles got pissed and started chasing me.

2-a dream about the importance of geology for my comic

3-a dream about meeting a Tapas friend irl and it turns out it was a redhead viking

4- The bear shown below chasing me in a colorful labyrinth while he and multiple copies of him ride tiny go-karts

one of the scariest dreams I've ever had that made me wonder what the hell is wrong with me:

the dream is actually more like a series of scary dreams. at first they're not so bad. They're more just weird and kind of upsetting than scary. I also have two friends who show up every time. Basically I play out the scenario with my two friends, and if I die/get the bad ending the scenario either resets or I go to the next one. Not so bad... at first. The dreams start getting scarier and scarier, the enemies are harder to escape, what they want to do to me gets more violent, there are more casualties. Oh, and my two friends are present for less and less of the dream util they stop showing up all together. Then I open my eyes and realize that I'm in a zombie dream I HATE zombie dreams. (They're my most common nightmare) So I look around at the zombie scenario and I just decide "Yeah... no. I'm not doing this" And I start slamming my head into a table trying to die so I can go to the next scenario.

That first one is actually amazing. I love that concept.

I mostly don't remember my dreams, but there are certain genres of recurring ones that I occasionally recall.

1. fear of aging dreams -- teeth falling out, bald spot, etc.

2. something (not knowing what is part of the existential horror) is chasing me and I'm trying to run away but it's like running under water and I barely get anywhere

3. small glimpses into another life -- most recently I was just standing in a one room cottage made of... I don't know exactly, clay or something? I didn't touch them, but I knew the walls had a grainy texture like sandstone. Another person was there, and we didn't talk or anything but I had the feeling that I'd known them for years and we lived together. Super brief but realistic. Nothing happens but I wake up thinking I just had a past life memory or some shit

4. I had bad insomnia for much of my life (though not the last few years, which is nice) and I used to have dreams about being unable to fall asleep. Super infuriating.

5. "Prophetic" dreams in which something really mundane happens, or I find a lost object, and then once I wake up the thing from the dream comes to pass/I find the object I've been looking for in the place I dreamed it. Basically just my subconscious telling me predictable things.

Oh, I hate that "Trying to run but legs seem to think they are underwater" thing in dreams! I've heard it's you fighting against your bodies natural "don't move" setting while sleeping.

That makes sense.... have also experienced sleep paralysis upon waking (though not the kind where you think a demon is sitting on you -- just being unable to move for a bit).

1. Running through some dark dense jungle with a t-rex chasing me, and I find a platform I thought would be safe, and try to climb the ladder to safety, but I'm not fast enough and I feel every tooth as it slices into my spine

2. I'm walking across a mossy lawn but the edges of my vision are not the reality I know, it's a red hazy view past the gates of oblivion (from the elder scrolls) and I am existing simultaneously in reality and oblivion, and the oblivion side is attacking and I have no way to defend
   This one I actually ended up using for one of my other stories for a character that is known as The Black Door Witch

3. I get home and for some reason I use the window as a door and there is my friend, aunt and grandmother that all passed away some time ago, and they're all talking shit on one of my living relatives, and I just breakdown and get a hug from my grandmom.

I know I have some really weird ones too but I cant recall any atm

Well, I keep a dream journal and I recently had a sudden move. Glad to be back in my homestate but here's a weird dream I had and a weird dream my grandmother had! Copied from dream journal.

Had a weird thing in the hotel last night where I think I was dreaming but could see the room as it was and I thought my mom and brother were NPCs and not real and that I needed to "escape the game".

Grandma just told me she had a dream "aliens that looked kind of human came to get you and then your brother shot them and they went back to their UFO".

...My "Red Shift" characters came for me, I guess? Dope but also scary lmao.
