I love short comics honestly. Because they challenge you to keep to the point.
What you need to do is get across your Most important point/idea in that page limit. And make it as beautiful or genuine (genuinely you, your style) in that limit.
It's kinda weird to give an example for you. Much like what darthmongoose said, little details aren't important. You have to cut out details of characters, the world they're in and such (unless the purpose of the short story is the world)
Hopefully you have an idea from all the other advice. Personally, this is what I love about short stories though as they force you to focus solely on the main point rather. No wiggle room for details. Think of those 2000 word limit essay from high school on a topic you're passionate about.
