It's very difficult to find good books to read there. So much toxic content and push for smut and weird kinks that are getting very uncomfortable to read. I never gave up so many books on any other platform than Wattpad. Also, I'm writing my own book, but as a new user without any followers is almost impossible to be noticed. I like Tapas much more.

it was so toxic, kinks everywhere and i might sound like prude but i don't think they should be there, there isn't anything wrong with liking that but most of wattpad readers are young kids/teens

Finding good stories on there can be difficult, but there are a few rare gems that I've loved reading on Wattpad. That's the only reason I've stayed. It just gets flooded with so many toxic stories and makes it almost impossible for new users to gain a decent sized reader base. I've enjoyed Tapas the most so far. Royal Road seems to have potential too, so I hope maybe it would work for you too!

Ill look into Royal Road, can you just tell me are authors as welcoming as here? I heard they tend to judge quite a bit, Thank you for letting me know

It's not as welcoming on Royal Road as it is here. I've also not been very active on there either, so that could contribute. They have forums as well though. They do tend to favor genres on there, but I feel like that's the case on any site. Even Tapas. I haven't encountered anyone harsh on there yet. It's just not as social. More like somewhere to put your story and give it a chance.

Yes, I think so too. There is nothing wrong with kinks, but if they are just coming on you strong and half of the book is on verge of an unhealthy unrealistic relationship is just too much. I can't stand abuse and is setting me off when I see teenage girls getting excited over 'daddy' forcing someone to get intimate with him. How can this go just that wrong, like you mentioned when kids are reading this and maybe creating a base of the future relationship?

YES YES YES. Kinks should stay in adult section since adult brain knows what is wrong and what is right. If you show 13 year old toxic relationship, they will think it's normal, its sad to see no one will sit down and tell them that "vanilla" relationships are 100% valid and okay.
