Should i post on wattpad as well

I already made a post saying i started at wattpad but my work got stolen, and now that its on tapas it doesn't .
My question is should i still upload there? I checked demographic and saw some new readers ,but im kinda confused since they are from 3 different places and it says 33% , so is this some wattpad glitch thing or are they real? I have only two parts there , intro and character profile

Probably a glitch. I uploaded to Wattpad too, so far no luck. I've decided to just leave that site alone. If your work already got stolen there I'd say to just forget about Wattpad. The risk is too high, you don't want to end up losing more of your work and only getting maybe 1 or 2 other readers, if you're lucky.

yeah, but im sure it wasnt a person but a bot, it happened to quite a bit of wattpad users, stealing site is called novedhd

im afraid that site novelhd will just keep on stealing my work, and while i don't earn any mony at the moment im afraid they wont stop doing that. I thought site is mirror site, but it seems like it isnt since if you delete your book from wattpad it stays on novelhd

Hello, a little bit late but I think you should stop posting on Wattpad for now until novelhd stops. My work got stolen too and so far, they haven't responded to my mails yet. If this still goes on might as well file a report. I don't want them to keep earning donations because of the works they've stolen and it's an open site, other people can edit and claim your works as theirs with just one tap away. I'm not risking that again. Be careful, fellow writers!

Ps. Discovered Tapas because of that issue and so far, I'm loving it here.

Honestly, there's not much on Wattpad. Sure, you might get a few readers on there, but is it really worth it? Aside from the novelhd thing, there's also the issue of how toxic communities have gotten there. A lot of users I've known have moved away from it. You could always look into other sites too if you want to branch out. RoyalRoad has seemed pretty cool. Personally, I'm not really a fan of Wattpad anymore. I'll leave my series there, but I don't plan to post any more content to it.

Hii , yeah im the same, i always have known tapas existed but i thought it's comic only, they won't respond and as for report i doubt it will do much, i know quite a lot of anime streaming websites get deleted/ shut down only to reopen with new domain, now i know i can't compare my little novel with anime industry but i can compare wattpad as company that earns money and publishes some of books.

I agree, as soon as i created my profile i got really weird recommendations ( toxic novels, i subbed to some classic books that do not have copyright because author has been dead and i got some fanfiction recommendations ). I remember when i used watttpad ages ago and it was filled with toxic "romance" , i can't imagine what's out there now.....

I think right now its a bad idea to post on wattpad with how things are going on. there is high chance of others stealing your work and claim it as their own.

Well, they pretty much won't give up their schemes as they will just reopen a new one but they deserve to be reported anyway. So for now, I really think it's best not to post on Wattpad. Its firewall is really weak and our works are no longer safe. Plus, I noticed the community is slowly becoming toxic. Let's stay away from negativity from now on.

i agree 100% , as writers we should hype each other up, or if we really cant get along just ignore each other. So far i didn't notice any toxic readers on my nor others work and i hope it stays that way
