When I joined Tapas to expand the audience for my comic over at my main site, I decided to take the opportunity to fix some things I'd been wanting to fix for a while--redrawing old artwork, rewriting some dialogue, breaking up the longer chapters--to make it look neat for the new readers. Eventually, the new pages end up on the website once a chapter is finished.
It's extra work, of course--I took a two-week break from the mainsite to try and focus on Tapas only to be met with my visiting nieces, buying a new car, and an unexpected death in the family--but if nothing else it's shown me how much I've learned since I started making comics for a hobby, which is never a bad thing to reflect on.
