Should I script all chapters or chapter by chapter in a comic?

should I script one chapter then do the art or script all chapters and only then do the art?

You need to be more specific what you think is a chapter. My comics is made of 5 books, each book being a weekly episode of about 30ish panels. Each episode is completely scripted before I start drawing but the book itself if a rough outline. I know where I'm going but not the details of how I get there. So weekly I script my episode with dialogue and the like, then draw it. But the entire story isn't scripted yet.

I have three seasons planed with less than 10 episodes each the first one being 6 or 7 chapters

Meh, I do chapter by chapter, although I have the key points of each chapter pointed out.

It's going to depend on your comfort. If you've never done it before you're just going to have to try and see which works.

If you find yourself getting distracted by what you have to do next for the script while working on the current chapter art then you probably would benefit from being at least a few chapters ahead in writing.

I like to do all of the chapters first so I know where the story is going, but some people prefer to write as they go.

Do what makes it the most fun for you personally.

I stay about 10 chapters ahead of what I'm drawing normally
