Hmmmm... I'll enter a rather sensitive area now, and I'll make my disclaimer and say that those are 'suspicious' some of us had and that were in a now closed and sent into oblivion preview thread.
Briefly, we believe they're manipulating stats and promoting only some kinds of toons, even if there are others with large audience.
This is like... on mobile app we have a counter of total views, then after est timezone midnight, they give you a total of only US views, that is what is important for patreon pledge.
When I uploaded saturday, I got a huge total views count... something like 20k views, BUT they only gave me 3k and something. Is it possible that I have a huge fanbase out of US? Yes, it is, but proportionally, this is not what happens to most of creators. I also have an addition of at least 200 subs per update, then it's really weird that so many people are adding me without reading a single chapter. Really, there are so many people who add comics just for the thumb? Not even a peek on a chapter to see if its their thing?
Another friend of mine, a very large creator, with more than 30k subs also had a large drop on their views suddenly, tho her subs keeps growin almost likely 1k weekly (continues on other comment so it wont be so large).
