My scenes aren't that detailed, but from time to time I do have a lot of characters on the same scene and I am forced to make a big general shot, to show where everyone are, and how are situated among them... and as I am doing a lot of more detail on body proportions and muscles (even when its not perfect, as you can see) its taking way more time than it used to on the first chapters xD
Well, at least with practice comes speed, so every time it takes less and less time draw scenes like this =P

I try to avoid doing time intensive backgrounds with my current project cuz I just...don't have time anymore, but this particular scene was a weird perspective, and I had to research some graves and draw that out with 5 pt perspective--it looks simple but there was a lot of weird stuff going on here and the more I look at it the more I want to go back and "fix" it but I gotta move on!

I guess mine is this one. It's the opening panel for episode 6 (i.e. the first episode that I was genuinely proud of). Single point perspective and single character, but fairly complicated for me So many super skilled people in this thread, I am in awe!

god damn, that is some amazing impressionistic ink work. Just the right amount of detail to imply distance and depth, just enough clarity to give a sense of ornate detail and oppulence.

Does a 2-page spread count as a single panel? I feel like this is kinda cheating: any panel this big is going to take an inordinate amount of time...

In terms of singular panel-panels, probably this one. Even if it's not, this is definitely the one I'm most proud of. I'm experimenting with more painterly effects to augment my inking in environments.
This one also hasn't been published just yet, I'm actually working ahead on my stuff for once.

I have a lot of these lmao

this was literally Hell (funny since it all happens in hell) because of all the dining space area details

this one had a lot of details so I spent there 5 or 6 afternoons

also a lot of details! I spent a lot of time writing the numbers on the drawers behind Lucifer (and deciding how the fckng carpet had to look like)

lot of characters and each one with all their details, specially Mammon (the brunnette flamboyant man) X___X

I love drawing background characters, and sometimes they are easier to draw than my main characters lol... but I don't like the colors of this panel that much tho...

I love the blurry effect on that panel^^

If a panel has a background, it really takes time but For me the longest one i currently worked on is probably this one because I need to render three different places for one scene ^^

Interestingly enough, one of the panels from the page(s) I’ve just posted has taken me the longest so far. The combination of the extras and the background was a lot to figure out, especially so early on.

The first page for my comic is the page I spent the most time. On. The first page is the most important page and I really thought hard about it.
