Hello everyone!
I'm working on a particular project, and I always work better with music. I don't always want to listen to the familiar albums and tracks I have in my music library, so lately I've been looking on 8tracks.com for a soundtrack I can work by. There are so many great playlists there, though by now I'm running into some homogeny and some things I'm not feeling on the same wavelength I need. I have listened to many playlists!
Essentially what I'm looking for -- and I'd like to challenge you, if you're up for creating a playlist! -- is a witch-themed playlist to create by! Witches, witchcraft, the forces of the universe and nature, the inherent autumn-ness of autumn, high and specific aesthetic, very stylized, with vivid imagery in mind. Convey the majesty of the witches. Paint the storm in your soul. What's there to be afraid of in the night? Us.
What I'm not looking for is a list of things I've either seen too much of or things that just don't fit: southern or country style; "I Put A Spell On You" (I like this song enough, but it pops up all the time); "O Death" (if I see another playlist with this song in it, I will scream); Lorde; Florence + the Machine; "edgy" covers of old or traditional songs.
I have a special fondness for Lana Del Rey, though I will admit "Gods and Monsters" pops up a bit too often too. There are a lot of other, more suitable tracks of hers that would work!
If any of you are up for it, I'd love to hear your playlists!
