these are so much fun <3 love everyone's posts!!!
here are some of mine
this was back in 2011. Had a real great time experimenting with watercolorI miss it sometimes
and these are 2012
@hades That watercolor is lovely!! (so's everything else, but damn!)
Ak, how could I forget watercolors? That was my choice coloring medium back in the day. Here was my final for watercolor class in 2010.
I don't have anything online in the way of old art, but I do have everything I've ever done digitally. These two are from about 2 years ago, and represent some of my first toe-dipping into the medium of digital illustration. Still super chuffed with them.
I did this a long time ago back in september and I'm still pretty proud the way it came out
Yessss this is fun! Love to see everyone's darlings! This is something from back on 2011, where I was coming back to the art world after 5 years without drawing (long story).
I think this is still my favourite piece so far. Took way less time than most of my other stuff and it's really scruffy, but I like it. I want to expand on it one day.
I love these so much! I absolutely adore the borders, they fit so well with the images! I'm also a giant fan of mythology so I'm basically in love. :'))
Beautiful! I really like the color palette.
@zelkats: That's awesome! @epiale: Love it! The shapes and colors are great.@joannekwan: Love it. Great line work. And your oil paint, love the perspective. You're water color are so beautiful. What is the theme? @hades: Love your work.
@ everyone: I love seeing all these...so coooolll
So wonderful to see everyone's favourite artwork! For me, I did this painting last week because I wanted to try painting something with direct light!
It's so much fun seeing everyone's art! These are all so amazing.
This is one I did about a year ago. I really loved how the lines look (even though it took forever!). I still love it and it was actually a lot of fun to do.
This is by no means my "favorite," but looking back on it (I made it in college) I'm always shocked by the amount of time I spent drawing the tiniest little details and burning through a pencil set just to draw a stupid frog.
Holy CRAP detail...how long did that take you?
I honestly don't remember. I do know it was part of assignment one week and due the next. It was a good thing I had no friends a lot of time on my hands.
"Hunter"This one did some time during 2012. It was my first ever decent looking painting i ever did in Gimp. I was never really able to make another piece quite like this one so it's has a special place in my heart.
The theme of the final was to just pick out something you can do 3-4 pieces for, so I chose the four winds, Notus, Zephyr, Boreas, and Eurus.
