The protagonist of my comic is a singer named Monica Morgia. She goes by the stage name "Miss Morgue," which is where the comic gets it's name from.
She's a snarky, flirty, impulsive young woman. She's happily married (though, as of now, she's a widow) and, until fairly recently, has had a pretty benign connection to the mafia family that controls the city she calls home.
Oh, and there's the little matter of her singing voice being able to raise the souls of the dead. She doesn't use this strange power for anything other than as a gimmick in her singing act -- an act that has made her a local celebrity -- but should she wish it, she could be a very dangerous individual to tangle with. Many would call her a "witch" in hushed tones and behind closed doors. Though, for now, the majority of the city's population think her magic is nothing more than fancy stagecraft. The only ones who know better are those closest to her -- her husband, her manager, and a few members of the mob.
