This is Mary Walker, from my comic "Voidchild".
I guess what makes her unique is that she is unique in several ways, some of which I won't get into here because that's to be told in the comic She's in possession of powerful supernatural abilities, of undisclosed nature so far and has found herself caught up in one of the many intrigues of Victoria (the fictional city in my story)..
What I've tried to do when creating her is to not get caught in a singular trait while still remaining consistent with the character. This is giving mesome trouble right now when presenting her. She's defined by her background, like most people, but will change over the course of the story.
Abraham Bekker is the second character, equally as important as Mary. He's an agent for a domestic agency that investigates the paranormal Victoria. He and Mary are curently helping each other solve one of these many cases. Like Mary, I'm having difficulty pointing out a single unique quality. He's a smart guy, a bit jaded, who'd like nothing more than to think the best of people. Also he has poor personal hygiene, much to the chagrin of his co-workers.
