what super powers are in your comics and how do they work?

heres one of mine:
Molecular Fusion- Geckie from Robo Hole8
dots on his body start glowing and things around him attach to his body. then he fuses with them in a big flash and transforms into a robot-type creature

Still in the concept stage, but for a given character (blessed with suck possibly)
Planar Gateways
Opens a portal to a different vibration of the local area. Problem? There are some things you don't want to screw with waltzing around(specifically, flesh eating Fairies, and not the small winged kind).
Alternatively, the cute version if I go with a cutesy robot setting
Everyone with the desire and the proper service port can leave their physical form to varying networks(for travel as an example), which may or may not have nasty bugs raising Cain and possessing people. Some(such as the protagonist) may have a mobile port permitting localized bug detection.
Edit: The cutesy version is less of a super power I admit

My main character has the power to transform when he drinks fruit punch! While he's transformed his limbs are bendy and stretchy. His skin also gets kind of sticky which is good for grabbing bad guys and climbing stuff.

Other than that, most of the hero characters just use gadgets. There is one character that has flight/super strength but he's kind of incompetent so he hasn't used them in the comic as of yet sweat_smile

My main character, Gemini, uses her ball-and-chain-like device, Valhalla, to absorb her foes, breaking them down into essence that she can imbue herself with their powers (or transform Valhalla itself into weapons). This gives her a ton of flexibility. Currently, she has access to clone and spear powers, but there are lots of potential powers and combinations for her to obtain throughout her journey. I've got superheroes like a man made out of beer, a gruff old drill sergeant that shoots rainbows, a Canadian Robot Werewolf, a Scottish Santa Claus, etc, who all have their own superpower move sets, so there's plenty of room for growth.

Trixie is also a little girl with reality creation powers. She has a very vivid imagination, so she can conjure up anything her little heart desires into existence with her magical blue whisps. She does have a limit, as her power use exhausts her fairly easily. Her power set is flexible like Gemini's, so it's been quite fun to find ways for her to use it.

I'd upload more examples here, since my comic has a boat-full of powers and future powers to show off, but this whole image error upload problem on the tapastic forums is incredibly limiting, so I'll just leave it at that.

Carl from Penciled1 has an affinity with creating possibly physics breaking inventions.

Does that count?

Super powers are so much fun! Oooh...Molecular fusion not only sounds cool, but the way you draw him using whatever's around him to give him the power to fight stuff is awesome!

My main character has the ability to absorb different 'Talismans' that gives her powers such as:

Puking Fire:

And she can heal any current injury as long as she uses water as a conduit.

She'll be getting more powers as times goes on.

Cool stufffffff... I got this dummy from Greengarten1 who can steal attributes and abilities of any being she touches (it's how she learns english).

She also develops natural abilities over time, like soooopah speeeed!

Also, if you wanna see some really dumb powers, check out the forum thread2 I started. It's a collab with a bunch of other people who submit their stupidest super hero concepts for a spin-off series I'll be starting.

holy crud everyone has really creative powers. these are really fun to look at :0

For Jim's Days1, I guess one of the quirks is that everyone has a power of some sort, but it's deemed normal? Tentative but here's some so far smiley

Jim - Transmutation
1

Cheshire - (All from her gear)
Steel Claws and Agility

Data Scanning

Hacking

Super Strength

And super hearing (Not shown, but again from her gear)

Almost all of the "extra-normal" abilities that may or may not occur in The Beard could be considered future spoilers.
BUT: is it considered a super power if you can buy it as easily as a new set of boobs?

Case in point:

Ooh, this looks fun! So I cant give too many spoilers about the powers in my comic1 as of yet, but I can give you some of the details about one character and how most of the magic in the setting works in general.

The short version is, the world in Lax Legends is old. Grossly, impossibly old. Old enough to have counted off multiple civilization-ending events that reset scientific advancement along with the calendar. This has left the world littered with artifacts, technologies and biotech far beyond the actual understanding of modern people, but ubiquitous enough to be commercialized or incorperated into the local biome. While the smart thing to do would be to leave things one doesn't understand alone, the temptation of power is too great to ignore, littering the world with people willing to truck in implements or phenomena that seems to operate beyond conventional understanding.

The study of these technologies is commonly referred to as magic.

Enter Richard

Richard has been dead for quite some time. And at no point does it get comfortable for him. Being made of dead flesh, no part of his body is "automated" anymore; he has to think about his heart beating, his lungs filling, every biological function of him is a conscious act.
On the one hand this can be beneficial; he rarely has to eat except to replenish material, doesn't sleep, and can heal from injury so long as his brain's intact and he understands the damage. He's capable of some superhuman feats, so long as he doesn't mind breaking a bone or two in the process, and never has to breathe or rest from exertion save for when a piece of him physically snaps or gives out.
However, getting any individual cell to divide requires direct attention and understanding of what he's trying to do with it, making recovery somewhat less effective than it is in a living body (hence the decay), and the constant mental effort of keeping his body maintaining itself leaves him tired, irritable and distracted at all times.

Superpowers, magic...close enough? xD

In Galebound, there's Magicians, but they're pretty rare. Also, the circumstances in which they can use magic are extremely narrow, so it's not often that someone gets to witness full-blown magic, but when the circumstances are right....

(Lack of shirt not required for magic)

Other than Magicians, there's another type of person who can...well, not directly use magic, but take advantage of the fact that magic exists...sorta. Part of the magic is the ability to hear the spirit of the city, the City Daemon, which can warn those who hear it of impending danger. The other half hasn't been revealed yet, but soooon.

I went in to Night Twink with a kind of trained martial artist/gadget idea. I thought something that wasn't explored much in comics was a character's sex appeal. If you've ever played Superhero Role Playing Games, you'd know there's often a 'charisma' stat or 'good looks' perk, which I thought doesn't get translated much in to comics, which I fancied giving a try. I also liked Spider-Woman's power to use her pheromones to attain information from people. So, yeah, Night Twink's power is that he's just damn hot smiley
