Electric Swing, Studio Killers(Especially the Ducked Ape remix of "Jenny"), "The Spinning Song" performed by vocaloids, etc Jenny Remix

I like it, ROLL FOR CHARISMA! Of the 7, I dig 2 and 4 most, "Everyone hide!" 4 turns into a bright mango color

Judging just by the first pages, I'd say it's a very good style and the hook is good. The biggest thing I'd be a critic about is the sudden style shifts between primary and prop characters, and between focused and unfocused props. Specifically how Panel 4(the worker and plants around him, center foc…

Still in the concept stage, but for a given character (blessed with suck possibly) Planar Gateways Opens a portal to a different vibration of the local area. Problem? There are some things you don't want to screw with waltzing around(specifically, flesh eating Fairies, and not the small winged kind)…

I'd say it's cute and well done. Perhaps it's Rye-loafs lack of changing expression + lack of movement? The use of animation is a good touch. Edit: Like Rye moves in his first comic but every moment since he's been static

Thanks. I'm aiming for "False Star Lacrim", still split between "Walking Land Mass" and "Mouth With Arms". Teeth will be my enemy, that's for sure. Edit: found it, very well done!

I am being reminded I'm not so good with drawing [image] Picture the guy tearing open a bag of Triple Sour Poprocks and pouring it in Zipboy's mouth, or throwing around Salted Caramel Caltrops. To fight the shame of my poor skills with drawing, witness this W.I.P L…

Just caught up, I accept your challenge! (Pssssssst, do they have to be a hero? Can they be ... VILLAINS!?)

Why lie? Songs are a good way to get your thoughts going. Unrelated example(I just like it): 15 Birds Related example Polite Dance Song, in which I always picture a room of civilians held hostage by masked teenage girls with guns ala Noodle. [image]

I had to hunt around for it, but last year I had looked into comic techniques and this one came up in regards to color. Five Glasses of Absinthe(NSFW) The artist had commented on a forum about self induced rules, his being to only use two colors, plus their lighter and darker variants, for each page…

@juniorfrederick97 Neonmeres gave a good example. It's when a comic doesn't rely on text to get across the story, but rather relies on the artist's skill to tell the story through actions, props, and so forth. [image]

Have you considered something in the vector based or 3D ballpark? Blender for instance is free, there are plenty of tutorials, and you'd have the benefit of consistency and relatively easy edits.

Perhaps consider a new series, a different genre, and/or a new comedy style?

True. How much do you consider small? 5-10 minutes? 20 minutes? Does the amount of acceptable time increase as you have more things to do?(Fighting baddies or keeping what remains of your vessel intact for example).

Sounds good, with the right amount of time I suppose you could get that relieved "Phew" filling.

I'll throw in a few additional questions that came up 12). In case of traveling, do you prefer: • Required time invested into the act of traveling with or without the option of fast travel, such as LoZ Windwaker • Traveling only necessary until locations are unlocked, after which you can fas…

I'm trying to find that spark. For now I just know: Fairies(the flesh eating &/or tricksy kind), Planes(the Bartimaeus Trilogy kind), and a dose of ultimate evil given form.

As a reader I think it's a really good way of stating a story is playing by its own rules. You get the Chaos Gods of Warhammer 40K, the Goddesses of The Legend of Zelda, the varied Lords of Samurai Jack, the big good/neutrals/bad of Душа возвращается на землю/The Soul Returns To The Earth(Russian/En…

There's also this look He looks at you and you think "Dammit Sugarplum, I'll give you a hug", even if a few pages back he just did something quite upsetting to the protagonist [image] [image]

A smile and raised eyebrows is a pretty good way to make a character attractive, even if they're a dick example: [image]

Neat style, good luck.

Thanks, and looks like it judging by Chapter 21.

I am not artistically inclined, so I know I'm not the sort to be able to draw the same images and characters the same way twice. But I can work with modeling. However, to my knowledge there is no successful or popular 3D comic. Can anyone throw out examples of a well done, 3D-model based comic?

Just judging by the most recent page, I'd give the art somewhere between 7 and 10, not so sure. It's not bad. For writing, aside from grammar(which needs work, as an example "We only bringed you" should be "We only brought you", or "Let me see what are we dealing with" should be "Let me see what we …

True, and what you said doubles as a reason for focusing on one particular genre over aiming wide. Good example with Bloodborne, haven't played in forever. Not so sure if I'd take the Story Focus approach, at least early on. (ponder ponder)
