Slice of Life Romance Webcomics

Good morning! I'm Kari, and I'm new to the Tapastic forums and trying to get involved. (I guess that's my way of apologizing in advance if I accidentally breach any forum etiquette I'm not sure of yet. )

I love comics, and I'm particularly interested in slice of life/romance, but I want to hear about whatever you're working on so I can start building a bigger reading list. As far as my work, I write a slice of life/dramedy/romance-y series called Regarding Dandelions, which you can find here on Tapastic or here at my main website.

If you like Slice of Life with romance elements, Juju's Diary is increeeedddible! The first part is available of premium and the second part is being updated by the creator free to read until it's, too, completed.

This comic "Closing Time" hasn't got any romance elements in it as of now, but I suspect it will it the future if you wanna keep an eye on it. Definitely slice of life either way. http://tapastic.com/series/6791

Ooh, thank you, @Jelw! I'll look into both of those! And I'm especially excited about the possibility of a slow-building romance in "Closing Time". Those are always fun.

les normaux is slice of life with a magical twist, set in paris. its really good, my favourite comic on all of tapastic second only to witchy.

Yeah, those are pretty hard to find since the "slice of life" section is flooded by the gag-a-day kind...

So, what do I have in my reading list...
Blossom boys just began but it looks pretty cool so far.
Miss Abbott and the doctor is reaaaally nice (more romance than slice-of-life ?)
Hey sister is one of my favorites but I have no idea if there will be romance...
What else ? Hmmm... Doppelganger Love seems nice too...

And a bit of self promotion just in case (eheh) : I just began publishing Humor Me so there's not much to see yet but I think it's the kind of stories you're looking for (the romance part will be slow though)...

Marvin! I love Humor Me! I just checked it out, read the whole thing and subscribed for more. Your art is fantastic, and I'm really interested in seeing where the story goes. Thank you for your self promotion.

I actually haven't read either of those! I'm kinda horrible at finding webcomics. Despite writing them myself, my radar for tracking down ones to read is pretty terrible.

I'm working on a sci-fi slice of life (somewhat) romance. Although the character choice may be less preferable to some (anthropomorphic foxes, although I'm trying to keep it serious and avoid any furry fandom styles and themes), I have good reasons for my choices and it should only contribute to the atmosphere of its world. Including love and romance, my comic also covers the topics of identity, abuse, mental health, science/ethics, philosophy, and more.

It is SFW, but is not recommended for those who don't like animal characters or science fiction.

Sorry I don't have much of a reading list to recommend anything else, I'm still new to tapastic.

Right now, I'm working on G.o.L, it's a romance/drama comic. I'm trying to put a lot of feelings and emotions in there. it's mostly a love triangle type of story. You can check it out when you have time.

Ah I'm a big fan of slice of life myself, some stuff from my reading list is
George and Johnny, the title characters are way too cute, and so is their budding friendship
The Girl Who Flew Away, great great art and the writing is really beautiful and somber
False 9, kind of leaning towards a sports manga feel but the art is great and the characters seem really promising

Also my own comic is a slice of life, though it might not be your cup of tea since the second part consists of horror instead of romance, but just in case youre interested its called Glamour, and its about monsters and making friends and stuff.
