So when I was writing the prologue to my next arc, I reveal that one of my characters is in a building full of baddies.

I realized he could easily sweep them with his super laughter like in my previous arc.

So in order to find some excuse, I quickly gave my antag earmuffs :v

We don't put too much attention since it was a last minute addition.

I hope fans notice why she puts them on. It seems like it's for the gun she pulls out for first time viewers.

What about you guys?

Ummm... I use to put msny tiny details for thr best fans who likes search it... guess one of them us the strange simbol that my dearly beloved Soulivur has on his sandal... appear in chapter 1 and back at chapter 27! Hope some people will notice this...

Haha I actually put details or foreshadowing in situations or dialogues so, even chapters that seem trivial will have some sort of info for up ahead

I'd say I wished they noticed but, often, they end up noticing something from the beginning was important 20 chapters later XD and it's super fun when they realize. Not like everyone does but I'm happy with those that connect the dots like that haha.

Of course, this is more from a story I'm writing which isn't on Tapas, but, I do plan to do this kind of thing in the new story I'll upload on Tapas, cause that's just how I write xD I like making people see paying attention to small details is worth it

Most things in my comic are intentional, so I have some small details that I bet nobody really notices. I put a lot of tiny easter eggs in the background for instance:

Though I tend to lose patience with drawing backgrounds really fast so I end up only leaving those in one panel haha

The usage of color is really important in Godchain and I hope that I can subconsciously tie certain things to other things just through the use of color.

For example, the colors on the flag of Arkos...

are reflected in the outline of the god, as well as the speech bubbles. Using color in this way is the reason why my series became a comic instead of a novel. Color is super important.

Color is a big part of my comic (I use different colors to represent the characters, different worlds, entities, etc.) but even though red is supposed to be something that represents danger, I'm using a lot of light blue to represent something bad happening – even though Max is in danger, going towards the light essentially is going to get him into more trouble.

Red also represents Max's anxiety, especially in the red circle that appears behind Max's head. This is supposed to represent him having a panic attack, and the circle disappearing means he's calming down.

Also Max's eyes are a different color in some of the newer pages!! There's a specific reason for this and there's a few panels where his eyes turn back to his normal eye color, so I hope readers catch onto it!

This is fairly obvious. In these two panels, Ink is drinking red ink and then throws up due to his weak stomach. Both are normal occurrences (at least for him,) but the current crisis plus the red color makes it seem like Ink's on his last legs. I probably have some others somewhere...

Edit: I'm trying to make Night Terror's poses very two-sided. Take this WIP of a banner I'm making for the series:

When I'm done, it will either look like Night Terror directing his forces to attack the Stars or Nightmare reaching for his brother's hand, begging for Dream to save him. Which is it? It depends on who you're thinking of.

In one of the early chapters, Gabe (one of our protagonists) wears a blue hat. In their first meeting, using his transmutation attribute, the other protagonist (August) turns his hat orange. It appears throughout the series, so August is always with him. It can be spotted on the cover. Hope this is okay, since it's a novel! My wonderful artist did his hat justice.

I added this paragraph to the first chapter only a few days ago, but I also added a paragraph to another chapter later on because these two chapters are supposed to reflect each other. There's a lot alike between the two, but I hope readers notice the differences and what that implies about each character.

Escaping the June heat into the safety of air conditioning, a group of white and orange uniforms scattered among the crowd of civilians. The shortest one stumbled over the dividing line marking his exit from the outside world. It didn't bring him down much, because like the rest of his fellow star rangers, soon, he'd be taking the trip of a lifetime. Soon, he'd be going to space.

Leaving the safety of the August sun for harsh air conditioning, a group of white and orange uniforms scattered among the crowd of civilians. The shortest one stumbled over the dividing line marking his exit from the outside world. It couldn't bring him down much more than he already felt. But like the rest of his fellow star rangers, soon, he'd be taking the trip of a lifetime. Soon, he'd be leaving Earth.

I really liked when a reader pointed out how the eyes of some of the characters from a comic of mine looked different from the rest of the cast. Most of the characters are common people, but three of them aren't like everyone else.
I never stated it explicitly, so when a reader pointed it out I got my dopamine boost

I mean, since someone did notice, I don't even know if it applies. But it was something I hoped people would notice, though

I always draw Nate's scars (and Matt's mother's too), and it became more and more healed with time, becoming more whiter and stuff like that.

One Inktober I just drew dogs with one hidden hot dog for 30 days. The last drawing had a hot cat so I amuse myself for a little Undertale humor. No foreshadowing for any comics, but thought it would be fun to share.
