Small discord servers for comic creators?

Hi! I'm looking for small but very active communities for comic creators and even writers.
I want to have a one-on-one conversation with people and share ideas, inspirations and help one another.
I find that in larger communities it's very difficult to have a personal interaction and to feel seen or heard.
Please let me know if there are any servers on your mind.
That will be greatly appreciated.

All the servers I'm on that fit that description are invite-only, locked behind a Patreon paywall or completely closed off. It's so hard to moderate servers that are open to everyone that a lot of people don't bother.

I'd recommend just posting on the forums and official Tapas discord, being chill and making good contributions to conversations (ie. not just using them to promote yourself etc.). Make friends with people you vibe with. You'll probably get invited to servers. With some people who are new and don't really talk much in threads that aren't just promoting themselves, it's hard to know if they'll be "safe" to invite, or if they'll stick around and regularly contribute. Sadly you get people who join these places just to stir up trouble or who never chat, just keep linking their own stuff, so demonstrating you're decent is pretty key.

the official webtoon canvas discord isn't exactly small but it's very active, and it's easy to have conversations. I recommend joining it if you upload to webtoon, if you don't then you won't be able to though as you have to submit an application with a screenshot of your dashboard before they let you in

I have a fairly small discord group(like 10 people max, but not all are active) that's full of both artists and writers! If you're interested, just DM me and I can send you an invite link. And if you get there and you decide it's not your vibe, thats totally cool!

I don't know much discord servers specifically meant for Creators some only allow to post in one specific platform (Be it webtoon, tapas o webcomics), as well, others aren't very active independently of size.

I joined this one a few seconds ago, I was reading the rules and about to introduce myself then got kicked out. What a speedrun

Fsarbolaez wasn't aware that non mods in our discord do not give invitations to our place. There is a screening process before one can be privately invited.

Nothing personal, but we've had quite a few individuals who only come to our discord to self-promote or be jerks, which isn't what our discord is about.

So we are now a little more careful.

That makes a lot of sense! I wouldn't want that as well. I want to contribute and make interesting conversations with people. Thank for your time to explain it to me. I didn't know tapas had an official discord server. I would give it a go!
