Small OC sketches to cope with stress, burnout and depression [CLOSED PERMANENTLY NOW]

Hey everyone. I'm opening a thread for small sketches during this weekend. This is to cope a bit with the mental pain i'm struggling with for a while now. It kinda comes in waves, sometimes i feel better and sometimes i feel incredibly lonely and bitterly hollow even when surrounded by family.

I won't be lining these or coloring them, just a sketch. If it's digital or traditional depends a bit on my mood atm. Also it will probably not be first come first serve. If for some reason i don't feel like doodling your character don't feel bad.

So leave your characters below and i'll get to it sometime this weekend (i also have some school stuff so don't expect to 100% get something out of this).

Oh yeah, i'm ever so slightly better in drawing male characters than female characters. Not that i'm excluding characters but just so you could take it into consideration if you want to

I hope you feel better man. I remember you did an awesome sketch of Fishergirl awhile back. Here's another of my characters I think you might enjoy drawing.

Roger the Ray--a kindly soul made of light that shepherds aerofauna--invisible, floating creatures--high up in the thermosphere. His light brings them into visibility so that scientists can study them.

Thanks for understanding, yeah it's not fun and it exhausts me when i wake up, even when i go to bed early.

Just chatting and talking like this actually confronts what i think is the main source of my depression: being ignored by others. Both in real life and on the internet i quite regularly have the feeling that i'm talking to a void or wall without response and that makes me feel empty and lonely. I think that's the main issue what drives me crazy. And thanks for the offer!

Man that feeling of extreme loneliness and hollowness really sucks, I know it too well - and it's hard to get out of, but it's good art helps you cope with it a bit! Hope this feeling doesn't come to you again too much.

Hi! I hope you're doing a bit better c': That kind of situations suck- a lot. Our brains don't want to cooperate sometimes, but, as you said, it comes and goes, so let's just hope it goes as fast as possbe. Best of lucks, seriously <3

You have a handful of requests already, so I'll just add an OC of mine here but don't feel preassured to draw him, do what's best for you

(the fist pic is kind of old, the scar isn't even colored right x'D but the suit stays the same, you can draw him with or without the jacket, or without clothes so he can show his abs lmao)
This is Benjamin (Aka: 1B). Oh, stupid Benjamin. I love him a lot but he's kind of an ass x'D

I'll try to tell you a bit about him without spoiling too much... His love history is a disaster, he drinks to cope because of some reasons that'll be discussed in the comic, but, on a brighter note, he loves country music and western movies <3 He also has a big, white, fancy white car he adores and takes care of regularly. Oh, he also helps take care of the canine unit c: He's kind of better dealing with dogs than with people...
