So I have a new comic

I am generally bad at advertising, but today´s christmas and so I hope you oversee me pestering you.

I started a new webcomic with the genres Romance/Drama/ Slice of Life. I concentrated more on the art than I ever did before, meaning slow updates, but this really is a project of the heart. If you give it a chance, it won´t dissapoint you feelingswise, I promise

wow, i love your art and pacing. this comic has great potential! id recommend double-checking all your spelling (i think you mightve got a loose confused with a lose) and find a more comic-friendly font - then it'll be perfect!

Thank you very much I am seriously thinking about getting someone to help me with my spelling. Not only is englisch not my first language and I struggle to find mistakes, but I am bad at that even in my native language I get that a lot that my things are scattered with mistakes, and I know it´s a turn off for some. It bothers me a lot.

With the font, do you mean style of the writing or how big i write it? What would be more comic friendly? Thank you fro your help this feedback is very good

the style of the writing. its perfect for the first part, but doesnt look right in speech bubbles. if you look at a lot of other comics, typically a font that looks a little closer to handwriting is used, similar to comic sans. if you look around for 'comicbook fonts' there are lots online that you can download and use for free.

this only really matters when you start writing speech which you havent yet, so you could instead change your bubbles to maybe a soft-edged bubble of a different colour like: http://myprintscreen.com/s/hg79/e611b3cb07 which would look effective with your font

id also recommend trying to fashion your text into the shape of your bubble. for example:

the text makes a bubble shape.

also, your title should be 'two lives' not 'two lifes' - if youre unsure about how a words spelt, maybe try putting your word for it into google translate, looking for the english translation youre familiar with

Oh my darn live. I looked this up a couple of times to not get the title wrong but here we go! So the plural of the word is written differently again! This is the death of me D: Well, I´ll change this now.

Apart from that I have to thank you a lot for actually visualizing the things for me! The soft edged bubble is a very good idea indeed. I was thinking how to make the actual speech appear different already but tadaaa! This seems perfect. I´ll try it out for shure.

I should have done this a while ago actually looking just at the font of other comics. I will do that now. Your font is very inspiring - i get what you mean. So much thinking apart from story and drawing! Well, it´s interesting, too!
And i´ll work on my text shaping.

no problem! always happy to help. the font i used in that example was wask new, btw. (unless you mean the one in my comic? which is called klaudia. theyre both available online for free tho)
