You shoulda tagged me for this because Im something of a Disney inspired artist myself rubs hands together and does a sigma face
Ive been learning this style since I was 15 years old and it is a very difficult style to get right. In fact, Id say learning the style is harder than drawing in the styles of most anime, mostly because I feel like the classic disney style has gone out of fashion in the past 20 something years outside of the studio, meanwhile for anime you have a shit tone of shows to pull from. Thats not to say it cant be done.
The best advice I can give is draw of stills of disney films and character sheets and animation genga (I dont know if there is an english term for it. Im a sakuga nut), more so those last two since you can get a better understanding at how its constructed over cleaner finished stuff. And while I dont 100% recomend this due to how questionable the site is, looking up disney inspired artists on DeviantArt and studying how they interpret the style can help. So that you can apply it to your own styles and make it work for you. Just because trying to go one for one is impossible and you may wanna take some creative liberties for certian aspects. Like in my case, I liked how Disney did animals, humans not as much. So I picked and chose elements with how disney drew humans that I liked, while also taking elements from other styles I liked more.
I know this might not seem like a lot but Im just detailing what I did and, who knows, maybe what worked for me could work for you too! ^^
