After having come face-to-face with the fact that artists get stuck with a crushing workload in web comic projects, I decided to return to my story's(Lifeblood) roots and make it a Visual Novel again. I posted a message on a Lemma Soft Forums stating that I'm looking to build a team, and so far it has been great: our team now has a programmer and an artist, with another looking to join us. All that's left is recruiting a sound designer and a composer...
Anyway, because of this, I'll probably be able to write way less The Essence of Villainy than I would like to - this project is the one that - technically - has the potential to pay the bills. However, I will attempt to write The Essence of Villainy whenever I can.
If anyone here is experienced with the Visual Novel media or indie game marketing, I'd love to ask for your tips and advice! There's a lot that we have to take into account, and we are a fledgling studio with only one - or possibly two - experienced members in our midst who know the hurdle and know what one has to take into account when managing a small project like this. Even if you don't have any advice, any thoughts and opinions would be highly valued.
...Man, do I love that I can post a topic like this in here and expect people to actually give some feedback. Tapas community is the best.
