Wow, what a loaded question. Most of my characters are bizarre-appearing aliens who self-evolve instead of breed to advance, so that's a no. One of those aliens is nursing a crush on another alien character, but it's less more like a hopeless infatuation born out of fascination than a typical hormone bath seen among the human species. Space is not romantic destination in Alien Fiction. If some other creator answers yes, I have no problem with that.

My MC (at least at the beginning of her arc) is pretty selfish and idealistic, my secondary (?) MC is insensitive and can't express her feelings properly (and also is rather impulsive) and the rest of the characters are way too old for me hahaha

Yes. But only because I've written stories about male characters that fit what I personally desire.

While impulse would have me say yes the truth is no. I don't quite see my characters as my "kids" but I feel like I've grown with them as people, if that makes sense. Sure there's the foundation that's built but I think more than anything I wanted to watch them grow, plus not many of them are the "romantic type" per say. If anything is accurate it's that they're as much a mess as the artist who made them.
