Nov 2015

I have to admit that I only really got into webcomics just last month. Before, I was only reading Shilin Huang's Carciphona.2 So when I got active here in the forums, I was able to expose myself into a lot of webcomics and it was really fun to go and read other people's stuff. There are like a lot of variations in art styles and stories and it was really inspiring and encouraging for me. I wish I could go and just read all day but of course I have to draw my own stuffs as well so I only put in a couple of hours on Sundays to read.

So anyway, here are some notable webcomics I already read until the latest. Most of them is probably known to most people here in the forums since they have like a lot of subs but if it's not known to you guys, please check them out!

The list is in no order in particular:
Bite Me7 - I don't know why this webcomic is making me smile when I read it especially on the part when Tyler uh... put his fangs on Tiana...

Socializing1015 - I find the author's drawing style absolutely unique and Adilene is like one of my girl crushes now!

Engelbaum5 - I am a huge sucker on art with tons of vibrant colors because I can't do that kind of coloring myself! (Well, maybe... if I practice a lot)

Suihara: The City of Water4 - Awesome compostition and lighting. I also love how expressive the characters faces.

R:ILPERSONA2 - I have to give some warning that there are a lot of gore scenes that are not tagged as NSFW. Good thing it's grayscaled. I really like the concept of this and I have a thing for helmets. Full of dynamic scenes.

Alone2 - I love how deep the stories of the two protagonist.

Heart of Keol1 - I still think the Danbi is a girl but I know he's a guy at least I like a boy character for once. I really love how it's drawn. Tons of awesome art!

Grassblades4 - I really like the story so far and the art is unique as well.

Aetherwing4 - That devil is devilishly handsome.

Zenchav5 - Cute characters and nice use of thick lines and that's what makes it look so unique.

Anyway, this is the list for now. I still have some stuffs on my reading list that I haven't finished up to the latest yet (because it's so long). I have to apologize though, I'm not really good at giving comprehensive comments so I always keep my sentences short since, I can't articulate most of my thoughts properly.

Anyway if you have some webcomic you really like to recommend please feel free to reply to this thread. I'll be sure to check it out. (Although it'll probably take me a couple of weeks...) smile

<3 Thank you for reading my comic - I'm so happy you're enjoying it!

Here are some I'm reading right now and enjoying a lot:

Phantomland4 - solid artwork, fun, interesting characters, fascinating world.

Humor Me3 - one of the most adorable comics Tapastic, and again, lovely artwork. <3

Demon House2 - didn't think demons could be adorable? Well, you clearly haven't met Rasmus, spider-eyed, many-legged puffball of cuteness. <3

Boulder and Fleet: Adventurers for Hire3 - cuteness seems to be a theme for this list, and Boulder and Fleet is no exception. Also, major bonus points for using the word "molybdenum" in dialogue.

And he is super zen! chill dude!
I recommend that webcomic also!
Belvidere2- I really like the atmosphere of this webcomic! It seems to tell an intriguing story!

Hacheeachkee1- I really like how alien the world is while still be somewhat familiar! And it's moment of intensity are really interesting to read!

The Pirate Balthazar:2 An amazing long-form comic that doesn't get much recognition. Gorgeous art, great character development, intriguing storyline, this comic has everything!
The Devil Who Couldn't Fly:3 A SERIOUSLY good read. The characters are soooo awesome!
Strays:1 A completed long-form comic that is so gorgeously done, the artwork and storyline are both as amazing as each other.
Miss Abbott and the Doctor:1 Honestly the cutest romance ever with the most adorable characters
That's all I can think of for now!

OH MY GOODNESS thank you guys so much for mentioning Aetherwing! I'm so happy people are liking it!

Here's a couple comics that I recommend!

Runewriters1 - A really great fantasy story with an interesting world and amazing characters.
Jupiter - I love everything by this artist. They always have really interesting ideas and are great at storytelling.

I would have so much series to mention, and a lot of them have been mentioned already smile
- Demon House I love how the heroine reacts, and the demons as well :3
- Gimknana ! The art is wonderful, and the plot sooooo interesting o^o

I will maybe post more links later ~

Omg thank you so much for recomending my comic, I'm so glad you like Adilene too ;v;

Here are some of my recomendations:-
- Crescendo2 The art is just amazing, there is so much details and environment in just one panel, the story is very intresting too!
- What-Sexual1 Love the leads, artist is good at showing intense emotions in both art and story and I love that.
- Dragon Husbands1 Cute art and characters and interesting story and I especially love the unique world that they're in.
- I love you, Bambette!2 Just trust me and read it.
- Steve Lichman I absolutely love the characters and the ridiculously funny humor
- Juju's Diary2 One of the webcomics that got me to go back to making webcomics myself, there is both a sense cuteness and mystery the story is just amazing, every panel is a masterpiece too!
(although season 1 is on Tapastic premium)

Aw, I'm glad you like Alone so far!!

At the moment I'm not keeping up with all of the comics on my list very well, but I'll still recommend Kamikaze2 for anyone who likes futuristic dystopian action and all of that smiley

That's the second time I see you advertising my comic, thanks so much I smile like crazy right now blush

On the top of my head, I'd like to add :

Dog Island1 : there's not much yet but the art is really good and I think it will turn out to be a really sweet story

The Old House On Lewis Street2 : great art and the story is very promising !

Hey Sister!2 : one of my fav here on Tapastic (and it's not because it's about the same theme as mine) and I can't wait to see it printed !

I'm still trying to catch up with some of the recommended comics I got a few days ago, but so far, I think I'll recommend these four

Tower 25 - an autobiography of the author's six months being homeless after a serious addiction to crystal meth. It's written like a lost sketch-journal

Heroes of Thantopolis2 About the second or so comic that was recommended to me once I joined. It's great, the colors and characters are A+. Plot follows a kid (Cyrus) who ends up in the city of the dead yet he's still mortal.

Vapors1 Right now it's just one chapter, but it's two college students, one of them is horrendously pretentious which is fun to read. Slice of life

Earth and Dust only has the prologue for now but it's magic and the fate of Earth and another world.

Oh my god! You recommended my comic! Thank you <3
To be honest I clicked on this topic thinking maybe someone mentioned my work and suprise, suprise!
Alright! Sharing is caring!
My reading list is quite poor, so i will mention titles that catched my interest the finest way possible:
Death Prince2 - romance with handsome zombie zomb, I love romances that include supernatural theme!
Coffee shop - short, cute and funny romance.
Both series from Misty Tang Woman of Dust and Grey eyes - the author certainly have it's own lore for the universe she created in both stories and I find the take on romance quite interesting
Grassblades1 - somehow this series achieved something impossible, I don't like kids and yet it doesn't annoy me in this story plus, wonderful backgrounds and character design. And who the hell doesn't like samurais? XD I'm definitely not shounen type, but this one catched my interest.

Wow! So much to read! There's no way I'll be able to read everything 'til the latest right away but I'll check every suggestion you have posted here. I already checked some but not until the latest so here's some:

Rasmus really is cute! Good thing he doesn't look like a real spider I have a phobia on those things. Definitely a good read!

They're really cute!

Definitely an interesting read!

Definitely didn't expect the plot! Really good read.

Yup! This is a good read as well!

Totally agree to this!

The storyline really is interesting. It's like they live in 1980s but has robots.

Agreed to this as well. Nice art.

I find that sebastian pretty creepy. Although I haven't read it 'til the latest yet.

The character is engaged to a dragon, cool!

I'm really glad I trusted you on this one!

Oh wow! The rendering is so breathtaking!

Definitely interesting and nice art!

Yahh definitely should read that. ehem...

I think I'll add some more (Although some I haven't finished 'til the latest page):
No Future2 - Definitely interesting plot here.

Radio Silence1 - I'm actually a fan of music themed stories so I'd definitely recommend this.

Malleus Maleficarum1 - Interesting storyline!

Castoff1 - That guy with the flashlight eyes is pretty cute and nice concept on that.

Thanks for reading my series smiley !!! I've also been checking out yours...just like you have a thing for helmets, I have a thing for angels with black wings, they're so cool looking
