Mines follows two brothers Owen (13) and Evan (21) hearing a mysterious **'Hum' sound** one night that
grants them unusual abilities but also makes them carriers to a something horrid. They immediately mutate others they come into contact with -transforming them into horrid carnivorous monsters. The monsters can combine together to form a variety of monstrosities and further infect the population. The heroes are caught between trying to save survivors yet trying to avoid infecting them too. The presence of other carriers with sinister motives further complicate things.
The theme of the story is Brotherhood between a Gay and a Straight Sibling, their growth, responsibility and better understanding of each other. The character Xun (liquid guy below) runs a Gay lounge that serves as the team's base of operations. While BL is more of a subplot: Evan has secret feelings for Xun but the presence of other Carriers (including seductive hunks) further complicate things.
