Now that I'm at it imma continue giving charger tips lmao,
This time imma give the tips for certain game modes,
(For rainmaker and tower control)
Your a charger, at the start you don't really have much to loose lol so just don't plant base run in, try by once your in the center eliminate the rivals, study the map your in before hand so you know from all places they can come from, so look in those places and when u see someone get them, killing rivals at the beginning is a great advantage to your team.
Another thing to do at the start (this applies to all weapons and if you went to have a more relaxed win I recommend doing this) at the start you and the rivals both have one objective, reach the middle so they won't paint and just much and just get ready for an attack, so just go to the rainmaker/tower and instantly grab/get on it because your teammates will be busy fighting, all your rivals will be at the middle so most of the time if your quick enough you can mark a big distance without the rival noticing, because no rival will be staying behind (most of the time) and there will be barely any enemy paint so use that to your advantage and just run for it, forget the rivals chasing you and just focus on getting as far as possible.
Another thing still in the same scenario but only applies for rainmaker, I notice many people make this mistake, at the start when they grab the rainmaker or in any moment of the game they start shooting fully charged shots to make a path or eliminate rivals and this is only ok in a few situations (when you have the lead and your just keeping the rainmaker away from the rival) because especially at the start, there is no need to stay still for a few seconds charging a shot that will paint something that wasn't full of enemy ink, the more time u spend the more the rival gets closer, (for splatoon 1 spam the rain maker button to quickly make a path when needed) jump over enemy ink, use the squid jump faster thru the ground, because you will never get hit instantly ever, so when your doing this it will take the rival a while to hit you (even when your literally on enemy ink) so just every single jump counts and even if you die, now the rainmaker is further so if you don't take the lead your teammates behind you have an easier job to do. So if you do this at the beginning, just ditch fully charge shots and just run for it you will make a seemingly small lead which will still help you later on the game, its a start. (I have actually done a knock down at the start using this tactic of just running lmao) And remember if you get to idk well 30 or even 40 still good that is something that if you plant the rest of the game as defense the rival will probably not take the lead.
And for tower control, the good ol spamming shots tactic never fails (bro I swear it's surprisingly op with the nzap and max speed up) just aim down to the floor of the tower and jump from one side to another spamming your shots to the tower base, it might sound stupid but wow is it surprising useful sometimes cos it annoys the rival a lot lol
That's all i got write now, I'll come back later with more but I'm sorry if some of this might sound confusing, its a bit hard to explain with words and I mainly play splatoon 1 which has a different rainmaker shooting mechanism as in splatoon 2 so it doesn't work the same.
If there are any other things you want tips about not only chargers I can also help.
Later I'll talk about why never use the scope E-liter
