Subs for Subs can help if someoneās goal is to at least reach the 100 milestone at a more reasonable time frame, but also at the expense of possibly having a inactive following but that can also happen to even if you grow it naturally; however be it less likely
However while that is the case, the want to unlock ad revenue first and then transitioning into a more natural building of a following for your series can also work, just depends on what a creator wants for their series.
When I started I subbed 4 subbed to one series way back when and later ended up actually truly loving it, it being one of the few comics I actually keep up the date with the second it drops. But I wouldnāt have gotten to that point if I never actually subbed in the first place so like everything thereās a grey area to decide if that was a good or bad thing in general.
So yeah, both routes have its pitfalls but all in all it boils down to what a specific creator wants and how fast they want it.
