are you sure you want to gain subs like this?

if so then you should know that this could be harmful for the future of the growth of your series due to inactive readers

Man do you post this on every sub 4 sub thread or what? People are trying to reach the 100 sub milestone and you have to get people at least looking somehow.

I appreciate your support and I subscribed to your comic as well. The storyline and characters are both very well done.

I do it because I know sub 4 sub can be harmful in the long run due to inactive readers, you can get people to look with read 4 read and if they like it then they will sub and leave a like on the episodes

How are inactive readers harmful and why is a sub-4-sub inactive reader any different than an organic sub that went inactive?

inactive subs don't help your series grow because they are not reading it or leaving likes on it.

To put it simply, it doesn't get you new readers, it just makes your sub count slightly higher

This sounds more neutral than bad. If an author's goal is higher sub count to reach tapas milestones, then who are we to say what's good or bad for them?

the sub milestones mean nothing, the only one that matters is at 100 which is number that most people don't reach.

And even when you get to 100 subs, you need actual people who will read your work in order for the milestone to take effect

This is hardly true. 100 and 250 are both significant milestones for people who actually want to start making money, even it's pennies to start. Again, you are telling people what is good for their goals.

Here is some I hope you enjoy:

Think you and @thecrystalrook are both right in a sense

Subs for Subs can help if someone’s goal is to at least reach the 100 milestone at a more reasonable time frame, but also at the expense of possibly having a inactive following but that can also happen to even if you grow it naturally; however be it less likely

However while that is the case, the want to unlock ad revenue first and then transitioning into a more natural building of a following for your series can also work, just depends on what a creator wants for their series.

When I started I subbed 4 subbed to one series way back when and later ended up actually truly loving it, it being one of the few comics I actually keep up the date with the second it drops. But I wouldn’t have gotten to that point if I never actually subbed in the first place so like everything there’s a grey area to decide if that was a good or bad thing in general.

So yeah, both routes have its pitfalls but all in all it boils down to what a specific creator wants and how fast they want it.

umm @CommanderMartyand @thecrystalrook idk what confusion is created here but I just wanted to get a word out that hey I'm posting my comics and I need support, that's why I mentioned, cross support each other in the original post. I also wrote that I'll try to review comics. I don't know much about the Tapas algorithm but I find Tapas forms as the only way to get readers to my comics.

For the read for read post you mentioned, I'll try to do that sometime too! :v:

@muskitten, I also have a Webtoon comic, so I subscribed to your webtoon as well. Here is my comic on webtoon.

Please subscribe when you can. I appreciate your support.

Hi there @muskitten I am already subbed to your comic and really enjoy it so far. I just left a comment on the last page but I'll say again I love the way you draw eyes. Maeve's purple eyes are my fav.

@TadxSarah I read 'Cheat Master' last night and really liked it too. What a fun story. Rika is a cute airhead :grin:I may not have subbed yet or commented since it was quite late but I will.

I just started a sort of redo of a series I made many years ago but never finished. Quality has suffered from age... but I hope you can take a look.

Very close (currently at 90) and would love your support as well!

I recently started my first series
