Super comic/manga team!(partnership)

i wanted to know if anyone was interested in making a manga/comic team up with me?
what do i mean by that? well 8 people so myself and seven others would basically help each other on each others comics if someone sucks at digital a team person would act as a collaborator to do whatever digital thing or if someone news writing help or backgrounds ect ect idk it could be a dumb idea but CLAMP is a comic team thats pretty swell so i thought id bring the idea here.

that being said id have a few expectations for one thered hafto be weekly meeting and a full schedual
second thered be an order in which everyones manga could be worked on by first allocatimg each team members strengths and weakness
third wed hafto consider team rules and making sureeveryone gets full credit
and forth if series are monetized who is owed for work theyve done

One thing that may encourage or entice people into this is have a structured plan, and expectations.

Having a team is just as much work if not more than handling one comic on your own.

That's 8 people that need to consistently need to be kept in the loop, be heard, have opinions that they'd like shared, and ideas of their own.

From a business perspective of this, you'd essentially have to play the role of Project Manager and make sure that this is truly a group effort, and everyone is getting credit, etc.

So if you have a solid plan of what your expectations are, and the specific roles, show them! This idea as worked for others in the past, after all.

Yes, here you are basically creating an associative publishing house. That certainly can work, it's after all the model on which all the traditional industry is based and we have tools to make it easier (like sharing documents / files with the whole team and commenting directing on each of them using dropbox) But as arbiterswake said, if you want something like that to work, you need someone whose job is to manage and coordinate the team, while making the decisions. That's the editor's job.

I can fill that role. Done it before and doing it now.

But first, you need a foundation.
What is the main series to work on?
Who is the lead artist and writer?

Just grating random people isn’t always a good idea. You need the lead, the soul that drives the rest.

And most important. What payment are we talking about?

well the goal was to more so get people who seriouly want to do comics but arent skilled at one task or another and in terms of payment itd be whatever was made from said projects and if i was to go in pocket for any reason things would hafto be at a less nebulous point im trying to go one step at a time people first other stuff second ect ect

Hi! I would be intersted on filling the writing position if it's not caught yet. Draing isn't my strong point (even though I'm trying to learn) I'm very good at storytelling and I'd love to have a group to share and co-work wth.
