Synopsis/blurb exchange party

This thread is for writing summaries for creators you enjoy. Let’s keep this simple and set a few easy ground rules.

You have to write a synopsis or blurb of at least 3 sentences long for someone else before you can post your story here. (I’m posting a couple new creators here at the beginning to get things rolling)
You must read at least the first 10 episodes of a comic or the first 3 chapters of a novel before posting a synopsis or blurb for that creator. If a series has less than that then just read everything they have published.
This is not a space for critical feedback. This thread is to celebrate your fellow creators and maybe write something they can use to promote their work to people who will love it as much as you do. Constructive criticism is a beautiful thing. It just doesn’t belong in this thread.

Here are a few newer small creators you can pick from to write a synopsis for if you’re one of the first people to arrive at the party.

Cancer on Spoon is a fast paced and action packed absurdist comedy. Hey! Thank you so much for putting my series up on the list, it really means a lot ! This is also a really good idea!

I will do the synopsis to Cup and Quill, but I haven't written a synopsis in a long time so here we go:

In "Cup and Quill," we meet Ember and Goji who are co-workers in the Cup and Quill bookstore and café. They become more than just friends and co-workers as they find out more from each other through their adventures. We also see more chains of events unfurl with exes, bosses, and more.

I will stop there as to not spoil the story.

Thanks a ton! I thought this would be a good way for creators to get an idea of what other people think of their work while also possibly getting something they can use to market themselves. I’d be happy to write one for you, but I’m going to wait a bit to give this thread a chance to heat up in case someone else wants to write up your series.

Alright, I'll give it a try lol.

So for Cup and Quill, it's almost like you got inspired from Bojack horseman, the writing is pretty engaging to be honest especially with how the characters are and how they talk about adult issues.

Granted with the coloring style it makes me think of Tuca and Birdy in a way, which is definitely a praise cause i really enjoy the writing for the sympnosis.

It's about animals that try to hope with their lives and choices and each episode is about each person's life. I'd say Goji is probs the more darker characters than the rest, but it does make sense considering what we're told from the narrative :>

I just finished reading Tanidreams and man, it really makes me think of a child's fairytale book, it's very cute and very sweet. The story revolves around the ideas of dreams in the first chapter, not so sure of the second though since the tone for the second chapter seems to be darker than the first initial tone.

The characters have very fun and simplistic designs that are similar to the Fox Prince with how I read it. ;w;
