Hey guys, I've been in the mood to do some roleplaying again! And so I present to you, the Tapas adventuring rp 2020! Artists and novelists are welcome!
In this rp you'll go on adventures together with characters from other works (and creators). What kind of adventures those are is up to you! The party will be able to travel along worlds and experience adventures in the universes of other creators!
So come on in and have a good time!

Most of the rp'ers here partake at around EST time. So if that is your timezone, getting to roleplay may be easier.
Housekeeping rules:
So it's a given that not everyone participating will be active in the same timezones and that's totally ok! I (and others if they want to) will give you a recap if you're out of the rp for a few hours (days, weeks... months?). The adventures have no need for rushing so no worries for staying online for the rp if you don't have time!
There will be a bit of action from time to time (well atleast when the adventure hosted is by me). It is kept to no extreme gore though. When you participate in the action scenes be a bit courteous to both your fellow creators and their characters, and the world host (especially if your characters are overpowered in your story canon). No world host and fellow rp'ers like it when the host tries to set up a conflict only for someone to dunk on it in a couple of replies. Try not to rush along the rp thread, please?
Aside from being courteous in fights whenever they happen, you should also just be courteous to others in general. Harmless jokes towards other characters are fine (as long as the receiving creator doesn't mind it) but excessive hate for no reason is not allowed and is uncourteous. And saying that it's ok for characters to be completely uncourteous towards other characters because they are in canon is not an excuse.
Giving people (especially the host) time to reply is also appreciated. Some of us may be doing college or doing full time jobs, and we are not online 100% of the time
You CANNOT control the characters of others. People must have control over their characters at all times, unless they give permission for it and even then, be careful. This also counts for actio n scenes, you can't control a character and just have them die or something
If you want me to write your character's bio or ref sheet in the upper post just tag me with your reference and I'll update it in this post. The character bios can give others an idea of how your characters look like and what their personality is like. It's not obligated but I do recommend it, especially when people join after the thread has been running for a while. That way they don't get as confused to who all these characters are. Of course you can also replace the bio with a ref sheet if that contains a bio.
If you violate the rules you'll first get three warnings. It's not a grave sin to violate a rule (could be on accident) but I'll just give you a heads up whenever things may go south. After the fourth violation (and if you haven't learned from the warnings beforehand) I or others may ask you to leave the rp thread.
There is something I want to emphasi z e on. Some people might think the rp is the same as playing Dungeons and Dragons, but we don't rp like that here. So no enforcing dice rolling on everyone.
We also try to keep the cast in the rp fairly balanced, so nobody completely bites the dust. If you are planning on entering and using a character who is a god or has godlike powers, it's probably better if you don't use them.
Lastly, there is no limit on how many characters you want to use here, but I recommend playing 3 or 4 at max because it is easier
Please tell us the secret password to let us know you read the rules. There is a bold letter in every part of the rules, and putting them in chronological order forms the word. We will have to deny you if you don't read the rules

Strengths: Proficient with his weapons, resistant to dark magic. Hard to break his spirit despite him coming over as cowardly and hesistant. In Overlord forms he can use powerful dark magic and has natural regeneration. Can use his ultimate attack to inflict necrosis on his foes.

Serenity
Age: 31 years
Height: 1.95m / 6'5"
Personality: Irritable at times, surprisingly patient and cunning. Can be caring but she can also shoot into a bloodlust-fueled frenzy when agitated
Likes: Botanics, hot chocolate. Believes in the phrase: "Revenge is best served cold"
Dislikes: Coffee, arrogant personalities. Hates war due to past events
Strengths: Physically strong and muscular. When she activates her surge she gains gargantuan amounts of strength, capable of destroying and ripping apart tanks and buildings with her bare hands. Cunning enough to think of strategies to bypass opponents who underestimate her and let their guards down.
Weaknesses: Is prone and weak to mental attacks and mind-control to an extent, not a ranged fighter though she can still hurl objects at a foe. Removing the bandages around her body while she uses her surge can cause overloads of her surge and cause muscle failure.
Hecate Singlespire (yes, that is her last name despite not being mentioned in canon yet)

Height: 1.79m / 5'11
Personality: Short temper, sassy. But also pretty mature.
Likes: Straightforward people, also dumb and rash people (she won't admit it though, but she finds it pretty cute). Likes to wear black and grey.
Dislikes: Sneak attacks and people fighting dirty. People being smug or sassy towards her despite doing the same thing (she's a bit of a hypocrite). Tends to avoid (using) fire. Prefers not to wear colourful outfits.
Strengths: Has a large variety of magic and spells which she is decently proficient at. Her ultimate skill, Syphon Gauntlet, allows her to drain the magic or energy from someone or something by touching it, but this skill will have to recharge after being used. The absorbed energy or magic is converted in extra power for her own magic. Can use her broomstick to fly.
Weaknesses: Not physically proficient, can easily be overwhelmed by physically strong opponents. Doesn't match up well against magic-resisting opponents (doesn't mean she has no tricks for those though)

Strengths: Fire sorcery, limited healing using fire magic. Andrew is also able to use a "steal spell", which steals a foe's item and gives it to Andrew. Andrew has a mace. Can morph into his Overlord form which can fly for short distances and regenerate. Finally, he can redirect lightning.
Weaknesses: Holy magic, water and ice to a small extent. Andrew in base is not super physically proficient, so physically strong enemies overwhelm him. Doesn't match up well against sand.

Bio: Akros is a man wrapped in mystery, having served as a slave for most of his youth. After he inherited the power of the magma titan and broke free from his shackles, he cherished his freedom and swore to avenge his fallen comrades.
Powers: Stronger than the average person, can manipulate earth, stone and sand. This means he can move it, transform it into different shapes, shoot it etc.
Akros' special ability is called Basal't's Legacy. In this state the power of the magma titan, Basal't, surges through his body as his blood heats up to immense temperatures. His skin hardens to a rock-like state and Akros radiates a heat field around him reaching temperatures of 6000 celcius or 10800 fahrenheit. Akros can currently hold this state for 8 minutes, because it hurts him internally

Race - human / forest spirit hybrid
Age - stopped counting after 160
Aster is a spirit caller, travelling arpund to help bring spiritual balance and heal spirits st risk of becoming feral demons. On his travels he searches for any hints to his mother's location.
Laid back and prefering more peaceful routes to solving conflict than fighting directly. But push comes to shove he can fight with his staff, is suprisingly nimble / acrobatic. And can weild fire magic along with invoking aid from local nature spirits.
He can take on the form of a two tail fox and a larger dire like fox with a blue flame mane when really ticked.

Height - roughly 7ft 10 ish
Race - land dragon
Age - 23 ish
Makna is a spirited and stubborn land dragon hand raised by Aster from an egg. She loves carrots and can be rather fussy to hiw shes treated. Prides herself in her speed, enjoying land dragon races and chasing challangers. Despite eating primarily plants she will have some meat and fingers.
Main strengths are her agility, horns, strength, bite.

The Aviator is a human with pale white skin, sandy blond hair that comes down to their shoulders, and dark grey wings. They wear goggles on their head, as well as a brown flight jacket, a blue scarf, tan pants, and black heeled boots.
The Aviator has a permanent smile on their face. This is not because they are happy all the time; they can feel any and all emotions the next person can, but no matter what they’re feeling, their smile will always remain glued to their face against their will.
At first glance they don’t seem good at fighting, as they have quite a skinny build, but they are actually quite skilled with a rapier and pistol.
The Aviator is sly and cunning, even manipulative. However, they can be befriended. The downside to this is that they don’t understand how friendships work, and as a result are extremely socially awkward around people they consider friends and will do strange things in order to show their affection.
Lucy Ziminiar Paimon is a first-class demon. As a result, she looks entirely human, save for her orange eyes with slit pupils. She is biracial, and has medium tan skin. She wears a tight fitting black dress that comes down just past her knees, black heels, and a silver fringed necklace that her boyfriend, Marcus, stole and gave to her as a gift right before they started dating.
Lucy was raised by a very strict and uptight family. She was taught to be a proper lady from the time she could walk and speak. As a result, she talks and acts very proper and dignified — or at least as proper and dignified as a thief and murderer can be.
Lucy’s weapon is a Davis Warner Infallible pistol. When on a heist, she tends to not speak as much as Marcus does; he threatens to shoot people, she actually follows through on it.
Marcus Paimon is also a first-class demon, meaning that he also looks human save for his eyes, which look like Lucy’s. He wears a white shirt, a red tie, a black trenchcoat, khakis, and black dress shoes.
Marcus is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, nor is he as cold blooded as Lucy when it comes to getting rid of people who get in the way of their heists. However, as said before, he will tend to talk and threaten people more than Lucy while robbing a place. His weapon is a Thompson submachine gun, or Tommy gun for short.
