Cate was upset, but Andrew gently pulls her backwards.
"C'mon, it's not that bad, right?" He smiles and acts as if nothing bad happens, but he cannot fully hide the cringe he is experiencing as his eye twitches with every off note.

"Even the baby is cringing Andrew." The witch grumbles.

“Ok, that’s enough.” Erras said before Danivere and Genii could start a duet... and possibly cause a cave-in. “Remember, we are trying not to bring any unnecessary attention to ourselves.”

Genii stopped ‘singing’ and smirked at Cate. He did really like the witch, but for some reason he loved winding her up. “We could sing some cradle songs?”

Bellah had finished cooking and placed the Marmot meat on top of a clean(ish) looking basalt stump, for people to help themselves.

Aster rubbed his assaulted ears

Cate scoffs and just walks away, but she is glad the ear-bleeding song was over. Danivere crossed her arms and looked annoyed.
"Sourpusses, what's wrong with me singing?"

"There's nothing wrong with your singing, it's just that you would benefit from putting more time into your passion." Luci said, trying to reassure Danivere.

"Luci is right. You should sing more and you'll get better and better." Genii smiled. "... but maaaybe practice when Cate isn't around."

"Hey Gem - can you pass me some of that?" Genii pointed over to the steaming pile of meat. Gemma stopped what she was doing to look at her brother. She raised a brow, but didn't move, almost like she was waiting for something.

"...... oh, please." Genii added, clapping his hands together in a praying gesture.

"That's better." Gemma muttered as she headed over to the breakfast plinth. She looked a bit disgusted by the roasted creatures on offer, but she got over that and pulled a couple of legs off for Genii and Danivere.

"Enjoy." she said as she handed the Marmot drumsticks out to the pair. At least if they were eating they wouldn't be singing, she thought.

"Once everyone has eaten we should head out." Erras announced to the group. "I don't want to have to spend the night up in the mountains. If we leave soon we can reach the other side before it get's dark."

"Thank you." Danivere picked the stick. She was a tad bit relunctant at first because of the last time she ate Bellah's cooked meat, but decided to eat it anyway. If things went south she could always take another cube.

“Cheers Gem.” Genii ate his breakfast in a few seconds, then got to trying to pull his boot back on. It took some effort, but whatever Erras had given him (as gross as it was) had reduced the swelling in his leg enough for it to fit.

Bellah passed some food to Aster and took enough to give to Makna.

Erras and Gemma ate something too, chatting just outside the cave entrance. Unlike the previous days the weather wasn’t so pleasant here. The skies were grey and the clouds low, so much so that they obscured the peaks of the mountains above them. The wind had a slight chill to it, causing Gemma to shudder and fasten her cloak.

“I’m worried Erras.” Gemma confessed to the Knight. “I remember how difficult it was the first time we did this...”

Erras looked at Gemma with a small smile. “It will be different this time...” he reassured her. “We have company... and we don’t have a nestling to contend with.”

Gemma laughed at that. “That’s true.”

Daemon, Andrew and Cate had picked their share of the food and were chowing down. Even Serenity had picked some. She seemed to have gained her strength back, but not her complete memory, and thus is still unaware of her Surge.

((Not too much, everyone just kind of woke up. Bellah was roasting meat, and Danivere, my character, started singing much to the annoyance to everyone else barring Genii. Because she is terrible at it.

((Currently everyone is doing breakfast

(Then I will answer to the conversation they had before under that assumtion that while talking they all started sitting down and eating minus Mina)

Mina chuckled as they all started gathering around to eat as it reminded her of the temple. "Do you have a problem with religion?" She asked as she could hear the wariness in those words. She was doing her best to sound as unconfrontational as possible since she liked to talk with people who had something against religion or just didn't believe it always made for an interesting conversation.
"I..." Mina went quiet as she considered the question seriously. On one hand, it was totally fine for her to travel with others during her pilgrimage on the other hand being taken to a safe place wasn't really the goal of her travels. She needed to find beasts so the most dangerous places were the best to visit for her. Letting out a deep breath she couldn't help but nod seeing Gemma's enthusiasm. "I wouldn't mind travelling with you for a bit."

Shaddiek senses Mina's presence and his antennae wiggle in anxiety:

Shaddiek: [English Translation] "Someone else is in our midst."

Metalman looks at Mina confused.

Metalman: "Bruh, I fall asleep for 10 hours!"

"That's great!" Gemma seemed happy that Mina was going to join the group, for a while at least.

"Do you believe in gods and stuff?" Genii said to Danivere as he looked for something to drag himself up with. He'd been sat down for so long his backside had gone numb.

Erras came back into the cave holding Genii's sword, which he'd found strung through one of the goblin's shoulders outside. "Good morning." He said to Metalman as he noticed he was finally awake.

Now that everyone was gathering Mina constantly retreated carefully trying to avoid those that looked like they were strong while constantly keeping an exit strategy for herself. "Nice to meet you... Nice to meet you." She greeted everyone she didn't know slowly since apparently there were all speaking different languages and she had no clue what some people were saying so she just stuck to the polite introductions she was taught.
The one person she felt a little more relaxed around was Gemma since she seemed to be genuinely happy to have Mina around. Though Mina could be wrong it was better for her mind to think one person had a positive view on her staying for a while.

Marcus: "Apparently it is a good morning."

He said.

Anthony: "Sup Erras. Good to see you."

Lucretia wakes up soon after:

Lucretia: "Hey, is that somebody new over there? New party wagon member eh?"

Nudges Anthony in the arm.

Anthony: "As long as she's not afraid of cockroaches, then she'll be fine in my book."

"Gods? No, not particulary." Danivere just finished her share of the meal.

Cate was observing Mina from under her large hat. Seems she was rather interested.

(@AmazementComics I'm sorry to say this since Mina is definitely going to be ok with it but I have a severe fear of cockroaches like I get panic attacks when I see anything similar to those and even the word make me have chills but since that is my own problem and Mina has no problem with them please just keep in mind that I might avoid the word when writing and I apologies for that)

"Nice to meet you." Mina continued introducing herself. "Party wagon?" She asked tilting her head a little intrigued by that idea since it was something that sounded fun.
Mina moved to the side a little more feeling like she was watched but couldn't really pinpoint who and why making her feel cautious and weary. But she still kept her smile since showing that you are aware of their strength would make you lose your advantage and with this many people even though they weren't all strong if something happened and they decided to attack she would still lose her chance of taking out the strong ones first if they were paying even closer attention to her.

Lucretia waves at Mina:

Lucretia: "Hey, I'm Lucretia. Those are my friends Marcus and Anthony."

Points to the others who look back at Mina. Suddenly Xola wiggles her antennae back and forth in curiousity of Mina.
