Gemma hadn’t known Hex before she had her voice back, so assumed the woman had been suffering from a sore throat. “I hate it when that happens. I used to loose my voice back at the tavern shouting at my customers... not that I did that often. They just got a bit rowdy sometimes.” She chatted as she walked after Erras and the others.
Gorn slowed down so that Rex could pet the young one.

“I’d like that.” Genii put his hand in Danivere’s as they walked. “What kind of things can you cook?” He asked.
Bellah walked along with Aster and Makna. She gave the Spirit Caller a funny look for saying she was fretting, but that was exactly what she was doing. She heard noises in the distance and pulled up her hood to hide her own ears. Her feet were covered in mud, so hopefully the paws would go unnoticed.
Eventually the group would be able to hear voices and the clip-clip of horses up ahead. The route Erras was taking them joined a main road (if you could call it that), an uneven cobbled path - only wide enough for one cart, but there were several wobbling by and squeezing past one another.
There were travellers on foot too (sirens, humans and lion-folk), carrying various goods on their backs, possibly to trade at the city.
