I just created my discord and I am looking for either official Tapas discord for writers or discord made by other writers. If possible, I want to join an active discord where I can engage with others.

Isn't Tapas forum enough?
I've seen some threads for Discord servers, I can't understand why.
This forum is by far my best option! I can take my time reading everyone's comments and the "toxicity" of fast paced Discord typing doesn't happen here.

:relieved:

It's because I don't want to mention other forums and site in this forum. I know it's allowed but out of respect for Tapas, I prefer not to. Also, I want to share things that I don't want to share in this forum. Most specially questions regarding my novel (that might spoil the readers). These are just some of the reasons why I want to join a discord. I plan for this to be the first and last non-Tapas related post

I actually created a discord account specifically to join this because I wanted something other than the forum. The forum is fine, but cluttered with promotions and other things. And discussions sometimes turn unnecessarily negative. Also, sometimes you want to actually connect with individuals for more than this topic or that. Have conversations, congratulate each other on successes, discuss questions, whatever. Yeah, you can do that in the forums, but it's more... detached?

Note: This is a comic/novel discord - it has authors and artists and also some aspiring. It's also pretty chill. I know there are people in here who are part of other discords, though, and at least one is specifically for novelists.
