I like all genres, but I always seem to write about love, in its many forms, and chosen or found family. <3

Isn't it? Definitely catches your eye anyway

Thank you so much for the recommendation!! [:heart_03:] I'm so glad you're enjoying! Love recommending stuff. Some comics and novels I'm enjoying right now (something for everyone lol):

Click on Edit Settings for your novel/comic, there is an option for a custom ad banner and custom ad banner link. You can make any image and link it to anything you want.

So, I used to HATE spinach, but I love it now. I also love cabbage in multiple ways - kimchi and creamy slaw come to mind - but now I can't eat salt or dairy or anything you would put slaw on. And bland cabbage is... meh. I guess it's good in a spring roll. Also, cabbages are too big. I can't eat th…

Is there an average word count for Tapas novels? Nope. Tapas premium requires at least 80,000 and you tend to do better with longer novels, just because that's the general expectation of serial readers. But I currently have an ongoing novel that will be in total around 190,000 words (2 parts), I h…

I'm a writer, not a comic artist, but definitely just a hobby. A side-gig implies working for money, I think. While this is surely a lot of work, I donate all ink support to charity, so I'm not making any kind of profit. I work full time to pay those many, many bills. I've always loved to write bu…

I totally get this and still feel it all the time. Everything I write makes me anxious, but so far I've gotten to those moments and had someone say something really sweet and I realized I didn't need to panic. Then I panic again next time, and so on. XD Getting feedback is great, criticism can be …

Regardless of the genre, I think you should a) write what the story and its characters need and b) what you're comfortable with. I write all genres, including BL/LGBTQ+, and I don't think one is any different from another. Just characters doing their thing in their world. And descriptive sexual cont…

So sorry, but I've had some health issues pop up and I won't be able to commit to this. It's very up in the air, so I don't want to make any promises I can't keep. I sent you an IG message  but I wanted to post here as well, so people know this is still open. I hope you find someone to help and …

First - your link doesn't work? Not sure if you've taken your novel down or haven't published anything yet. Second - Hi there  I quite like editing and character development is my jam, so I would be open to helping you look through your writing. I am publishing and working on multiple projects, ho…

No idea how long this takes to read, but short - 5 episodes and an epilogue.

Good bawling, I hope. ^^ I just wrote it for a random short story prompt, but I got really attached by the end.

Short story here. 5 chapters and an epilogue. Also, I hope you're not actually dying and feel better soon. :two_hearts:

Ah, good to know. Well, then, my fantasy novel just started. Chapter 3 posts tomorrow, updates every Tues Thurs.

I have a short story I did for a "something born from something lost" prompt - 5 episodes and an epilogue. About found family, as always with me. ^^

Since it's dead here, I'm going to recommend a comedy series. Bits of a Book by @oranges0da. I've only read a few so far, but they're just one episode short stories or story parts and great! Very easy way to read a quick but entertaining story!

Love the art! Very classic slapstick. As is the description of the characters

Hmm... defining "strong" is hard. My novel (and subsequent books) have 2 female MCs. Strong in that they take what they're given and keep going and use it to grow. They are also magically strong, but that's just fate.

Post away. It seems like there aren't very many comedy novels with comedy as the main genre... Need more people writing ridiculous things! I'm already subbed to yours. ^^ Can't wait to have some time to read it!

Right? It's ridiculous. :joy: And I'm so glad you posted. I thought I was already subbed to your novel, but I'm not! So subbed. Hope you enjoy the insanity.

Yet each story always seemed to begin the same - a middle-aged woman writing an angry letter to the manufacturers of her now second pair of broken knitting needles.

It was only a forty minute cart ride from the base of the Tower to the Imperium marketplace, but for the twenty girls crammed in the back like cattle, it felt infinitely longer. (First chapter posts this morning ^^)

Tommy Tony didn’t think much of science. He felt the time these people wasted spitting on molecules, or whatever it was they did, would be better spent shooting llamas in the crotch. (Not my novel, but I love this line...)

Just started today. Post-apocalyptic humans and mutated llamas, ridiculous amounts of violence and gore, terrible puns, dark and irreverent humor, insane yet endearing characters, and surprising moments of insight into societal issues, struggles with mental health, and what makes someone an asshol…

Just started today!

Llamapocalypse just posted its first chapter!! This is a friend's novel, but I am helping edit it for serialization on Tapas and super excited about it, so I'm sharing. I noticed there's already an overall comedy thread, but I also found that, while there are many comedy web comics, there aren't a…

No part of me would ever want to be famous, but if I happened to remain anonymous and somehow still got massively rich, I'd pay off debt for my family and friends, put some aside for future medical bills, keep just enough to not have to work, travel the world, and give everything else away. Honestly…

Oh I bet it would be good for a podcast. And I like that people have looked for indie books for local libraries and such. I follow a lot of queer/LGBTQ authors, so it is nice to discover more "non-mainstream" stuff. The writer community is good, I just don't know anyone who has picked up a lot of re…
