Tapas Ink Goals

I've just discover INK GOALS under the Support feature on the dashboard.

I thought a goal of 5000 ink for an early release of a chapter was a good goal to set.

What type of goals would you set and for how much?

(Trying to gage if 5000 ink is too high)

Dang, is this new? I hadn't seen this option when first checking it out, that's awesome thanks for posting!!
(I personally use 700 as an ink reward for early chapters, I went with this since 5000 would technically be the average price for a full ebook and my chapters are usually around 1k words. If you post episodes that are over 5-8k though then a higher price is understandable in my opinion. )

That's good to know, thank you. I don't sell any of my books as ebooks, so I have no idea the comparison.
I'll mess around with the goal total for something suitable.
Not sure how readers or inkers know or see the goal - haven't been about to work that out yet

Any amount is good to me. IDK what ink is used for but if people are willing to give it then it must be important.

Ebooks can range from 99 cents to around 10 dollars, it depends on the length of the book/if it's on sale, etc. I wish I could help you with the seeing the goal but unfortunately I haven't found out about where it appears yet either. Will come back to comment if I do though!

My readers get too ambitious with meeting any challenges I set, so for now my goal is set for the 29k stretch goal for Inksgiving which earns them the NSFW stuff

Is there a place on the dashboard that says how much total ink you've received? (not just what it converts to in dollars?) Or can you only see if you set a goal?

I was hoping the goal bar could include the total tips from before the goal was set. Nope ;;;

I set mine to 50k (a bit over what it takes to do a withdrawl) and upon reaching the goal I'll change my profile picture again, because people really liked the last time I did that for some reason?

I threw 30k in as an arbitrary-ish # (enough for 10 black and white sketches). But I discovered it after I already received a bunch of support so... oh well~

I initially set it to 20k, then lowered it to 5k (figured I'd be reasonable). It's too bad that previous tips aren't applied to your set goal, but what can you do?

I lowered my goal and reached it before I was ready
