I never used the feature. So I can't mourn at the loss unlike the rest but it'd still be great if they find another way to implement music on novels and comics. Like youtube or even spotify. Some authors and comic artists do make their work with a song in mind and wanted their readers to listen to it as well.

I mean they're not wrong, a lot of my music has kind of stopped working a lot of the time. I hope they find a new solution soon.

Sounds like the site's growing too fast to keep up with this kind of expenses. I guess they'd rather license more bland villainess and gaming comics rather than keep things that allow their own userbase to express their creativity

I've mentioned before that I wanna add my own music to that comic I wanna make eventually so that title sent me for a loop lol I suppose you could just link it in the description of an upload or something but ugh that'd be really inconvenient to have it show up after reading an update. As long as the music feature lives on in some way, I'll be happy with that~

Yeah, even though I never used the feature I'm sad it went away. Mostly because for me music often conveys a certain journey for my work so I tend to not want to give it all away

My endings won't make half sense now. Also sad because there are some series on Tapas where the ambient music sets the tone for the episode, some of these series are older and the creators may not be active anymore to find an alternative when the new music option becomes available.

okay i thought i was just bitter when i didn't like seeing this many villiainess novels/comics, i'll be honest i didn't read them ( i did read one on webtoons but i forgot the name), like art is so pretty (cover on featured), but we have way to many now....

I forgot to say, i don't mind them, i even checked out one novel on tapas( it wasn't featured) and i like it, but we need different types on tapas featured/ paid

tapas' selection is aggressively samey, which imo would be ok if we didn't get constantly spammed with advertising for these comics both on the home page and as push notifications. as it is, it's really annoying imo

i agree, but on the other side, i think they are doing that because it's popular so they don't want to risk with something "boring"
