CDS7 is a studio with multiple artists that is looking to expand our online reach/supporter revenue. Tapastic's Supporter Program seems like a good platform for us to garner additional 'funds' through a supporter base and when the opportunity presents itself, we will be sure to take it up.

As a studio, we will be having multiple comics with very diverse themes (from standard moe to BL) & art direction. Subscribers can choose to subscribe to individual series without any issues. However it's quite a different case for the support program since all the funds go to the 'creator'.

However, knowing how certain fans are only willing to support certain series/individual artists and will refuse to support a creator with multiple diverse series, we feel that it will be more viable if we can allow fans to specify which series they are supporting . So this does get a little tricky. Either we create multiple Tapastic account (and work out all those tricky multiple Paypal issues) or we stick to just one account (and play a delicate supporter management game)

How would you go about it?

As someone who works with a team and has done so for a while:
Why are you complicating this? You're talking about your studio, but somehow artists specifically need to get paid, and your fans have to specify this? Why not just send funds to the company revenue itself? This way you can promote not only your most popular work, but also those who aren't as popular. You can give everyone a cut, that way animosity is less of an issue. Your question switches from you asking abut what you should do as a studio vs what you should do as individual artists. That tells me you're not sure which one you want to be. Studios make money to hire, promote and sell the artwork of all artists. Artist collectives means you get a cut of whatever the artist makes, and only the artist making money gets paid.

A simpler solution might just be to have each artist have their own account, but your branding, and a link to a website where they can find other comics in the tapastic line up.
