Hey y'all. I'm curious, when technical difficulties raise their ugly heads, how do you handle it?

This week my partner had a major fail on his computer - the mother board is totally fried! I feel really bad for him, and we know it'll get fixed soon. But we couldn't finish the page! We always try to post something on Kamikaze update days so we made a little dumb graphic with our characters. Thankfully it seems to be getting pretty good reception! Phew!

So what do YOU do when you unexpectedly can't post?

Nothing. If you can't post anything/ aren't able to post anything then don't post anything. Wait until you can post something then do the following.

  1. Let your readers know that you couldn't post anything because (insert your reason here*) by sharing a post with them.
  2. Post what you were going to post before (insert reason here*).

One way you could post something/let your subscribers know that you could post something is by going to a library and posting/letting your subscribers know that you couldn't post.

*If your reason is because your dead, then this wouldn't work.I wouldn't know what to do if that was the case.

Nice idea with the drawing. xD

I just let the readers know on my wall, though usually I'm able to borrow a working laptop to keep the updates going.

Not much that can be done, if I can't draw a page I can't really draw anything else to fill in for said page. I am only a single person.

Best I can do is post a note explaining and apologizing in the next update, as when you post on creator walls only PC readers that bother checking out your wall (which is a very small number of my fans) will get the message, so it's best to send messages like that in the author comments of your actual comic.
