Tell me a cool world building factoid from your story

Has your story got a cool world in it? Why not tell us something cool about it? What's the main religion and/or main god? Are there strange animals or race of people? How about rituals, political families, architecture? How much more weird and wonderful is it from our own?

I'll start us off:

In Ethana, the world that my comic Fate is based in, there were 3 Sister Gods who created the three plane of existence in their own images and preferences.

• Odia - The Sky Goddess - Maker of Rannagit and the Fae - Mother to
  all. She is the oldest sister, the one of great sight and hearing.
  She created the world Rannagit inhabited by the Fae. To her children,
  she gifted knowledge greater than themselves, acknowledgement of
  destiny, gods and magic. Upon the death of her younger sister
  Allielie she adopted the world of Ethana and humans and gifted both
  with magic. She became the Sky Goddess, Mother to All, and trapped
  her sister Deanham, the betrayer, in her clouds.

• Allielie - The Sea Goddess - Maker of Ethana and humans - The Dead
  Sister. The middle sister, the one who brought harmony. She created
  Ethana, the world of humans creating them in her own image. To her
  children, she gave the power of change and to adapt. The gift of
  stories and many children. She held great love for her sisters and
  the world they created, to them she gifted song and music. Upon her
  death, at the hands of her sister, she became a great sea for her
  beloved humans.

• Deanham - The Earth Goddess - Maker of Vetonil and demons - The
  Imprisoned Sister. Upon killing her sister Allielie, Deanham was
  stopped and imprisoned by Odia. She has become Ethana's clouds,
  forever in pieces blown by the winds. She has forfeited her ownership
  of her domain, Vetonil, filled with vile demons of no base or order.
  It has been left to perish with no godly guidance. Deanham's name has
  been erased, her deeds forgotten. She will forever be the Imprisoned
  Sister, her name scattered as her body.

I have some dumb worldbuilding facts fromWelcome Back

The somnritians in my comic worship the greek god of sleep who most have never seen and treasure whatever feathers taken from him. They wait for his return when really he just lives in the back of their cave getting wasted on wine, opium and being a useless tool. They could probably make the dangerous trek and find him if they tried.

Kris is a lucid dreamer and the only person within this dreamworld who is aware he's trapped in a never ending dream. So he ends up both realizing the stress he goes through isn't real but also being the only voice of reason among everyone else who don't know they're dreaming.

Also jacob's canon voice probably sounds like an asmr youtube video. I'm sure most people expect him to sound like a wacky whimsical wizard but a voice like that would be grating if his main objective is to take over people's minds.

This hasn't been mentioned in the comic but a behind the scenes tidbit:

For people who use verbal magic in Legio Arcana older languages are preferred (Latin, Ancient Greek, Babylonian, etc.) because they are closer to the root meaning rather than watered down by translations as languages evolve and split

World building that has come up is that the change of humans to werewolves isn't determined by lunar cycles. The real stimulus that induces change comes up later in the chapter

Oh boy I have a world in the making, but that story is not ready yet... don't know if that counts or it should only be for published worlds so to speak? If it counts I can make another post with facts about it and images ^^

Instead I have a dark fairytale, The Changeling's Sister, that I publish that resides in victorian times and in the world of fairies, so I can give you a lot of fairy facts:

In the story the main character's twin has been kidnapped by a fairy and replaced with a doll. In fairy lore this doll is called a fetch and is often times created out of a rotten log of wood or a rabbit's head or something like that, and the shadow of the victim.

These Fetches can also be refered to as changelings, but so can the person being kidnapped.

A fairy cannot lie or go back on a promise, but they will try and use it as much to their advatage as possible.

A fairy cannot enter a home without an invitation.

All fairies have green eyes, and are... I guess you can say hyperallergic to metals, especially iron.

There's a part of town known as the Twilight District where the locals have magic powers. My main (non magical) characters visit it, but any magic they encounter turns out badly. They get pranked. They get scammed. And any good natured spell cast upon them will backfire.

A couple little bits:

• The world Galebound takes place on is a tidally-locked planet
  circling a dwarf star, loosely based off Gliese 581g. Because
  the world is tidally-locked, there's no day/night cycle. However,
  every twenty-seven hours there's an eclipse which casts the world in
  shadow for an hour--the Dark Hour.

• The most common means of...uhh...handling the deceased is
  cremation, after which the ashes are buried along with plant seeds
  (trees, flowers, grasses, etc), typically a plant that had
  significance to either the deceased person or their survivors. The
  idea is that the deceased lives on as the plant (in the
  ciiiiiiiiiiiircle of liiiiiiiiiiiiife). Sometimes the ashes are
  spread over water or scattered to the wind instead, but full-body
  burial is considered abnormal.
