My comic, Outcast Kingdom, is about a group of freelance adventurers in a fantasy world. The twist? 1, it's a monster world instead of a human one, and 2, instead of traditional fantasy creatures and races, elves, dwarves, orcs, goblins, dragons, and griffons, this world is inhabited by the creatures of classic monster movies, urban legends, literature, and other "recent" myths. (A few example so far being werewolves, mummies, winged monkeys, and gillmen (think "creature from the black lagoon")
Unfortunately, I haven't updated in a while. Hopefully I'll be able to change that in the new year.
A friend of mine does a really cool comic (enhanced with a few animated elements) called Project Chimera. It's about six children who escape a mysterious laboratory, and can turn into bizarre creatures. Her art style is wonderful mix of charming and occasionally dark.
I'd also recommend Charlie Ironpaw, as it is about medieval dinosaur people, which is something I don't think I've ever seen before. Also, the artwork is fantastic-- especially the scenic backgrounds.
